  1. Same here deck 6 aft elevators is perfect for us. We just booked the Bella 2 sailing thru The TA. Group rate plus OBC is nice to have. I elected to prepay tips when final payment is due, that way we should be protected incase they raise tips by 2025. We usually don't do this but we usually don't book this far out in advance. We haven't used a TA for several years but he may now be my go to guy😃 I'm excited to meet everyone but hate to wait almost 2 yrs.
  2. Anthem is the only ship currently sailing out of Bayonne. We had no problem with parking in the garage for our December cruise.
  3. Yes, it will be great to meet. I have a couple cabin selections for when I go to next cruise desk. Looking at aft hump on deck 6. Eric is suppose to be picking a European cruise that we can book next week for summer of 2024.
  4. Your time in the park will be more like 2.5 hrs if you board bus at 2 pm, drive 1 hr or so then get get on monorail and have a pick up time of 6 pm.
  5. You will love this itinerary. We did the same one on Serenade a couple years ago. Was one of favorite cruises.
  6. Rc stops at PC for supplies. Maybe instead of trying to cram in a stressful day with lot of time on the road you might want to consider taking the shuttle bus to Ron Jon's and go to the beach and grab a meal at one of the restaurants at port, Fish Lips is a good choice. https://www.google.com/search?gs_ssp=eJzj4tZP1zcsT7IoyyjJM2C0UjWosLBINUg0M040S05KMUhOTbEyqDC1SEs1MzNITTJKMkg0NzfwkkjLLM5QyMksKFYoyC8qUUhOzEssSy1KzAEAo3QY1g&q=fish+lips+port+canaveral&oq=fish+lips+port&aqs=chrome.1.0i355i512j46i175i199i512j69i57j0i512l2j0i22i30j0i390l2.6928j0j7&client=ms-android-boostdish-us-revc&sourceid=chrome-mobile&ie=UTF-8#sbfbu=1&pi=fish lips port canaveral
  7. If ship leaves at 9 pm...all aboard would be 830. We have sailed itineraries out of Bayonne numerous times and majority of the people that have gone to parks seem to all the say thing once back onboard...long day on the road with not enough time to enjoy the parks. With how much tickets cost just to enter the parks, not worth it, IMO.
  8. Our favorite is Serenade. Perfect size ship for us. Our 2nd favorite would be Anthem. Grandeur will always be special with us as that was our first sailing with Royal. And sailed on her several times with one memorable cruise with 30' swells.
  9. This particular coach tour does have a couple of stops where you can get off wander around, take photos, souvenir shop, etc. Then head to the beach. Once you arrive At the beach you have the option to stay at the beach for approx. 1 hr then take the bus back to the ship or if your sailing is departing Aruba in the evening you have the option to stay on the beach and take a taxi or public bus back to the cruise port (cheap and easy to do either option).
  10. I will have to look into booking this too! @Arzeena Please remind the date so I can save on my calendar. Thank you😍
  11. So very sorry that your Husband is suffering and travel plans were cancelled. I hope he receives some relief soon and that you both can get some sleep. As always, you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers🙏
  12. I usually wait until the last minute since we usually owe something but this year I wanted to have it done before our cruise so it's not in the back of my mind while sailing next week. I have a spreadsheet of where I keep track of all the income and expenses for our shore house rental as well as a spreadsheet for stocks that we buy/sell. Sure does make it much easier when time to file.
  13. Glad you are feeling well enough to file taxes and do some projects. I filed our federal and state returns yesterday. March is flying by. Hopefully you will be back to 100% soon. I have to look but I think all our free covid test kits have expired. I am hoping to never have to test again for Covid Happy Spring Everyone🐇
  14. Our first trip to Aruba years ago we did a royal excursion that was a bus tour with a visit to the natural Bridge, seeing that side of the island is quite different than where we dock. Our tour also included a trip up to the CA lighthouse. Beautiful area. Then we had 1 hr break at Eagle beach. The tour guide was very informative. For first timers I would recommend a tour like this to see various places. We have since been to Aruba several times by cruise and land vacations. One of our favorite islands.
  15. Yes, I have had and made boils like that too! As our family loves to go crabbing down the shore as well as eat crabs. A couple years ago I bought one of those brown paper rolls with crab print on it (it's about 4 or 5' tall and never ending length). We have used it many times and the roll still has a lot left.
