We just brought our generator out of the shed and happy that it started right up. We do this every couple of months. Letting it run out of gas we put in today. 😀

Tonight's dinner was white clam sauce with linguine and garlic bread. I usually buy little or middle neck clams but tonight I tried Cento white clam sauce in a can and added some fresh minced garlic and white wine. Delicious!

I learned my lesson years ago and take unusual or bulky items to the laundromat and use their huge machines. It's a trip I don't care to do but there's a nice shoe store and our favorite bakery that make it worthwhile. 😀

Anthem does have a good Sorrentos. Glad to hear it is still good. We will be back on Anthem beginning of December.

Oasis seems to always dock at very end of the pier. It is a very long hot walk. They have a little booth set up where you can catch a ride on golf carts instead of walking. Tends to be a wait for the shuttle people but we'll worth it if you have complications.

On Anthem last March/April we stayed onboard and customs agent came onboard to the royal theater. That was nice!

You can always buy now and if cheaper before your cruise cancel and rebook at new price for internet. Maybe they will offer promo on intro to starlink😁

@Radioon our 8.28 Oasis sailing my DH and I ordered the lobster tail dinner and we each asked for 2 extra tails. We were both served one dinner plate with 3 tails. We saw 8 person table next to us get 2 big plates with several tails placed in center of table. This was deck 5 of MDR. We always enjoy a piece of Barramudi and our waiter brought out a nice size filet for us to share with our lobsters. Delicious full dinner that night😀

Anything that you have on hangars does not have to be re-packed. They will transfer those items to the new closet. My DH joked in the past he was going to hang up his underwear, etc so he didn't have to repack😁 Yes, definitely much easier and nicer to have same cabin.

Pretty sure you mean Voom - that is what Royal calls their internet. Personally, I hate paying the currently high prices for internet and grab a deal whenever I can. Thankful for the free days from crown n anchor and the 30% off from the casino prime members. If you want to stream shows or work remotely with a VPN, then you want surf n stream. If you want just basic stuff, wifi calling, checking emails, etc. then surf is just fine. The signal strength varies based on the ship, the location of the ship, weather conditions and your physical location on the ship. I have been in some cabins where internet is worthless but works great in other areas of the ship. Other times internet worked great in my cabin. There are many factors to getting good internet on a cruise ship.

I, too, have done that in addition to the app. I do it to check my drink vouchers and just to make sure nothing wonky is charged to us.
