  1. not sure since I have so many phone numbers written all over my paperwork, but try 1800 327-7030 for flight line????
  2. All I can say, buyer beware, NCL may have deep discounts, but not "friendly flights", it is your own comfort zone what you can tolerate.
  3. Group of 4 flying from PDX to LAX On March 25, 2023, asked for a one-day deviation. this is usually a 2 hour plus little flight. We all got our NCL flight confirmation 60 days before cruise. Cruise leaves March 26th. they put us all on the worse Southwest flights they could possibly find. Yes, our airfare charged by NCL was very unexpensive, $238.00 for 2 r/t. We leave PDX (portland, OR) on March 25, 5:30AM, make a connection in San Jose, CA, arrive Los Angeles 9:45am. Not great but doable. BUT the return trip is leaving LAX at 8pm going through San Jose and arriving into Portland, 1215am next day. that's so wrong. this cruise is on the Bliss departing March 26, a 7 night. Buyer beware! We have purchased tickets coming back at reasonable times. Lesson learned, you get what you pay for, and beyond that SW is not an allegiance airlines, so if we get a cancel outbound they cannot hook us up with another airline.
  4. Anyone can confirm if robes are provided in Spa Balcony Suite, category M9 on the Bliss?? travelling with 2 other couples, first time in a long time outside of Haven, urggh. Having friends onboard will make up for the upscale treatment (I hope) ha ah
  5. The IT problem which I hope it is, is NUTS. My online reservation keeps going back and forth with owing $280 (that would be pre paid daily service charge) we completed payment in full Jan 9th, now our friends on same cruise booked together, theirs shows a 58.00 credit, it comes and goes also. YIKES. We did not choose or would I ever pre pay the DSC. Cruise Booked and pd in full Jan 9, 2023, sailing March 26, 2023, BLISS. Call to PCC, of course no call back, we arent't booking, LOL. this is still happening 01-23-23, 750 PST
  6. Any idea if all Ships are going back to traditional muster drill, the last year or so has been done online watching a video and then just as you board go to your assigned station and get your card scanned???
  7. Looking at the Port Schedule, seems like the Joy is getting the farthest berth,? Looks like our sailing hopefully on the Bliss is scheduled for 92, so hoping. Anyone on the Bliss in the last two weeks, give us a heads up??
  8. I think deviation means one day, not hours.
  9. Thanks to all. Have been on the Bliss before, know where the dining rooms are, so great one at least open for lunch. the buffet can be way overwhelming on day one. To answer who "they" are that try to direct you to the buffet, STAFF , especially if you ask for directions to a MDR for lunch. and ChiefmateJRK, : FYI not an internet urban legend
  10. Cruising with friends on the Bliss, wondering if one of the MDR is open for lunch on day one?? Know they try to direct you to the buffet, but if anyone actually ate at one, would appreciate letting us know, thanks
  11. Have a cruise with friends March 26th, told no guarantee the four of us would get same flights. OK, got that. What is the time line for getting airline info into your account? We have so many cruises with NCL, but this time with another couple and they choose to use NCL flights, so we went along.
  12. Wonder how long this mess will last or permanent. Seems NCL has lost the usual docking of the Ships at San Pedro??? Have done at least 6 times from there, latest one year ago. Never like this. We need easy peasy at our age, thanks for the information
  13. you really should be at airport 2 hours before flight. Too early. doubt if at best you will off ship, even carrying off everything with you before 830am?? Well if the travel gods are with , just maybe possible.
  14. Just so curious as thinking of doing another cruise in a couple months from San Pedro, was there an explanation why you could not walk off with your luggage. On a 7 day cruise we just take walk on walk off luggage.???
  15. Wow, makes absolutely no since. they had to take the luggage from where the Ship docked to another area, "the white tents" where you usually go through on boarding?? My heads spinning thinking of all the logistics of this. Certainly glad this has never happened to us, multiple Salings in and out of San Pedro
  16. To the poster a page back or so that said booked NCL Air Plan as it was so good and wouldn't miss the Ship. WRONG, If Your flights gets delayed or canceled, the Ship is going without you. May wait for an hour or two at the most if a sufficient number of passengers involved.
  17. Disembarkation sounds really bad. You had to get on a shuttle after clearing the Ship to get your luggage?? Wow, that sucks. Unless all group in Haven you don't get the real experience. We have travel friends, know to be true,. will not to Haven when they come along, since they wont. lol
  18. ?? Had no idea another "company" handled upgrades for NCL. Is Plusgrade legit?? well I guess since OP did get an upgrade to Haven?? If OP has time to answer would be interested in any best ways to get upgrade?? thanks
  19. The laundry service is not fabric friendly, just saying, don't send anything out that is not going to do well with hot water and high heat dryer. Even on a 14 day cruise we can do without anything but underwear being sent out. Good Luck
  20. Enjoy the Observation Lounge, drinks, snacks, best views. You have a good chance of making all your reservations once onboard. they only release so many prior to cruise.
  21. Just my opinion, make time somehow and contact NCL insurance ASAP. Unfortunately NCL third party insurance does not send you all the contact info , policy number, etc. like when buying other travel insurance. I wish I would have saved their direct numbers but didn't.
  22. Markus Toe: Ask your room steward to show you drawers, I really think your room has them, but sometimes hard to see where they actually pull out from, just a suggestion.
  23. our experience in Le Bistro many a time, closed toe shoes for men required, Hubby wears them as recent as Sept., do not know if that "rule" has changed or enforced. It used to be for sure
