If the stars align, if you disembark in Long Beach and fly out of Long Beach, get off the /ship with carry on only, you have a good chance of making the flight.. FYI if you disembark the Ship earlier than scheduled (San Diego) you may be charged a "penalty fee" not sure what they call it but would check before considering that. Long Bech Airport is so nice and small!!!

Never had a problem with dropping off our carryon luggage in the Haven (which is all we do) in our cabin once aboard, whether in the Haven Proper or once outside a few decks away. Or for that matter, we have traveled with friends when we did not book Haven. We found our cabin, even though the doors to the hallway were closed, quickly dropped off our luggage and left. I know maybe not should have, but there was never a problem. Just saying, worked for us! Crew never said anything but see you soon when room is ready for you. I would not have a problem leaving luggage at concierge desk in the Haven though. Just not my preference.

Sailed on Bliss Feb this year in the Haven. American Diner, the Haven restaurant, one of the Main dining rooms, the 24-hour restaurant on deck 7 I think and the buffet were the choices.

? about coffee, was there not a Nepresso coffee maker in your haven cabin? or you prefer regular coffee.

NCL does use Southwest. At least 16 months ago. The very worse flights from PDX to LAX and return. Outgoing flight left at 5am. Return flight from LAX 8pm. Just my opinion

We have done multiple cruises disembarking in San Pedro. Never a glitch, lucky us. But a 1045am flight out of Long Beach would make me nervous. If everything goes right, you could be off the Ship around 8am?? personally would not do

The mini fridge on our last at least 6 cruises no longer have fridge stocked with any alcohol. in them. the only alcohol is a bottle of Champagne in the ice cooler stand upon arrival. WE are diamond and yes there are cartons of water, but not in the mini fridge. Anyway I think you could ask pre concierge to not have any complimentary alcoholic bevies delivered to room.

Just my opinion have stayed in Haven on the encore, deck 18, forget which room, but traffic noise was never an issue. Have stayed on Bliss, kind of sister Ship on 17, basically never had a noise issue on either Ship, in the Haven. regardless of location. Balcony size differs. But if we both fit on the balcony, we are happy campers. lol

OK, if the coupon limit was so obvious, why then did the online chat have to put a courtesy hold to check it out?? Your saying I did not need to check "the coupon" so should have not called. But why then, if it was so cut and dry did the on line chat need to do a mock booking to find that out. The on line chat "representative" was an eager beaver to get a booking hopefully. Misatertomatotoe, I was getting annoyed and a little what the heck is going on with all the emails for a booking I did not make, thanks for your response

I agree with OP, very annoying. Yes, do need to avoid being logged into your NCl account when having fun browsing. I switch over to google, am anonymous there as far as NCL sees. to have fun exploring without annoying phone calls the next day.

to add, the courtesy confirm and second email confirmation did have cabin # and price for a balcony cabin. Never did I discuss what accommodations I was interested in.

Used chat line tonight to ask about a 10% discount in my account. Gave chat person the ID number of it and my latitude number. My question was about the date the coupon could be used, yes, to me it looked like only a September date for an Alaska Cruise, but wanted to make sure it could not be used for another. She asked when would you like to sail, I replied" possibly July". confirmed it was for only for the specific date in September. I replied thank you for your time and information. Within 5 minutes I received an email with a courtesy hold for a cruise in July and then a confirmation of same cruise within 2 minutes. At first, I had a little panic attack, but gave no credit card info and know I could dispute it and did call NCL and was told , "it will go away within 24 hours". Well fine and dandy I guess, but I think this kind of "marketing" or whatever is very wrong. Hope NCL see this, lol. Anyway just wanting to pass along my experience.

In Haven last month on Bliss, even booked 30 days out, got luggage tags, did not use them since we do carry on, but sure got them in the mail

complawyer: Wow you got beyond Haven treatment, never heard of or knew a concierge would take you all the way through to the luggage area of the terminal!! We get taken by the "special elevator" to the designated deck to disembark. then on our own

Yes you can carry on any luggage that will fit through an airline size scanner. Even if not in the Haven. We stay in the Haven and bring our luggage onboard. Never had a problem with putting it directly into our room, most times room ready. We have sailed 34 times on NCL, and10 times we have received a flier delivered to our room, looking for lost luggage that someone did not receive. to see if it any passenger had it in their cabin. And that was delivered on day 2 or 3. So travel at your own comfort level.

I am so amazed how you handled everything, You have a reserved spot in the beyond for you for sure. Hope Mom recoups comfortably at home.
