I had a Maine lobster a few years ago on Edge in the Fine Cut. That's the only time I have seen it. When we did Canada/NE on Summit a few years ago, they still served the crawfish on lobster night in the MDR. That was very disappointing. But we had great lobster for lunch in Halifax. And in Portland.
Who is getting upset? I view at stop at Coco Cay as very favorable. On RCCL, stopping there or at Labadee is nice, but full of kids. There will be far fewer kids when stopping on Celebrity.
Yeah very true- a big crawfish. Lobster has claws. But if you put the proper description on the menu, most people would think it was a downgrade (which it is compared to real lobster). Can you imagine the threads? One would be "No more free crawfish"? Or -- "When is crawfish night in the MDR"? Or -- "When did they reduce the crawfish tail size"? Or - "Can I order a second crawfish"? LOL.😀
Well the US is still the only country that uses centuries-old measurements. Apparently we are too unintelligent to adopt the worldwide standard metric measurements.😉
If you have a NRD, and Celebrity made this change, you could potentially get a full refund. If it were me, I would ask about it. Do you have a TA representing you?
Agree totally about respecting staff.
But just wanted to point out that you can bring guests into Luminae within the rules. You clear it with the Maître 'D and you pay an extra charge for them.
I always look at it in the following way. Laundry costs are just part of the many other costs of a cruise. Especially a longer one. It seems there is no issue paying for expensive excursions, drinks, specialty restaurants. But laundry? Oh no, not that!😀
Yes I understand. But some people would still rather have a nice Lawn Club burger for dinner. The "free" burgers at the pool are not anywhere near the quality and taste.
For Celebrity, only M-Class ships do the full transport of the PC. We did it on Infinity like @phoenix_dream. It is not about fitting into the locks, but fitting under the Bridge of the Americas on the Pacific side. The Infinity had the Helipad open for good forward views for everybody. But we mostly observed from our balcony in our cabin. It was super hot and humid and being in the AC was nice.
