The biggest difference you will find with Celebrity vs Carnival and Royal- and it is quite noticeable- much less noise, far fewer kids, no amusement park atmosphere.
The bubbly when you entered the ship was a nice little extra touch by Celebrity. One of their trademarks in the past that distinguished them a bit from other lines. Not sure why it was eliminated post-pandemic. Yeah I know- everybody will say cost savings. Having to go to Cafe al Bacio to find it really defeats the original purpose IMO.
Sorry I missed the retirement bit. Good luck to her! She will likely get a few Board seats here and there so she won't be fully retired. Most CEO's do this.
Lisa Lutoff-Perlo will transition to Vice Chair, External Affairs for Royal Caribbean Group, effective May 1. In her new role, Lutoff-Perlo will continue reporting to Royal Caribbean Group President and CEO Jason Liberty
LLP to LHB. Remember that change here in your posts complaining about Celebrity, and also you need a new email address for complaints to the CEO. Other than that, nothing much will change.
On Chic nights you will see every type of dress, but much more casual than the Formal nights of the past. If he enjoys a Tuxedo, then he will look great and will not be out of place. Enjoy!
The ship is older and has not had the major renovations called the Revolution. Consequence of the pandemic and lack of funds due to the extended cruise shutdown. I do not believe that any staterooms on Infinity including suites have had upgrades.
No problem. I did not mean to imply anything either. In my previous (unretired) life, I used to run site operations for a major company. I agree with you. There is nothing like actual, realistic drilling to be prepared for emergencies. For both staff and passengers.
I was responding to the OP's simple question about e-Muster. I don't think many here are downplaying the importance of a Muster drill and sorry to hear of your experience.
Ken you are being upright and following the rules. But there seems to be no requirement that you have to show a date or timestamp or dated photo. From what I read anyway from the link you posted.
Yes! Download the Celebrity app and you can do the Muster Drill by watching there. Or once onboard, in your stateroom on the TV. Either way, before the ship departs you just go to your designated muster area and tell them you are there and they check you off the list. That's it.
