Cruising in suites on Celebrity has been a very nice vacation over the years for us. These absurd suite prices now have made us seek other cruise lines. Like a lot of Celebrity loyalists here. I never imagined I would change but that is where we find ourselves.

They are not pushing suites over long time loyalty. They are separate issues entirely IMO. If one pays the exorbitant prices these days for a suite experience, what does that have to do with benefits for Z, E+ or E? Those Loyalty benefits are perks. The suite benefits are paid for. They can address the Loyalty perks (and restore the Z's benefits) without the idea that they compete with Suites.

It is not the Starlink that is the problem. It has been documented here on CC that the ship puts a significant throttle on the download and upload speeds. And since most everybody has the standard WiFi there is a user sharing issue too. We had premium Wifi on Equinox with Starlink- the best I experienced on any cruise.

We took this cruise on Infinity around this time of year. Extremely hot and humid outside when we went. The Sky Bar is a better choice I think!

Yes the prices do not vary by ship. So why come up with the brochure?

You can also view the muster before or after boarding on the Celebrity app. Just check in at you muster station any time before the ship departs.

It now seems like they have done this- just go to Cafe al Bacio for the free bubbly after dropping off your stuff in your cabin.

Do you pay to have them laminated?

EQ no longer has Cellar Masters. Replaced with Craft Social.

We were in a CS on EQ recently - it was not renovated.

On S-Class ships? Which ship? We have sailed a number of times in the S1 aft corner cabin on S-Class. Overall one of our favorites.

Our town does not have a library. Or Staples. But I do understand that printers are passe' for a lot of younger folks. It is still easier for me to have a printer on my desk to use when I need it. I guess I'm stuck in my generation!😀

We were on Equinox in January. I thought it was in very good shape.

I have one. What is the alternative? Just keep e-documents on your Phone? What do you do if you need a paper copy of something?

No problem. People here for the most part try to understand the situation and offer advice or have had a similar experience. It is OK to vent at Celebrity or anybody that you want. Lots of venting on these boards too! Hopefully you will be happily cruising in Alaska and elsewhere in the future. Come back and let us know.

One would think if an Alaska cruise was cancelled, others here that were affected would be posting about it too. Wonder what is going on? The Millennium sailings May 12, May 19 and May 26 are all on the website as open. Solstice sailings also open.

We are looking beyond Celebrity as we usually sail suites and the prices now are insane. We have sailed suites on RCCL but not the same experience at all. We enjoy a quiet laid back ship. This thread has mentioned MSC Yacht Club a lot and Oceania too. Is there an area on HAL that is like the Retreat and Yacht Club? What ships? Is there a the better suite value on HAL vs Celebrity?

You guilt is exactly what they are counting on! We use the Spa and 20% tip is a generous one so we don't tip more.

Were there any bars on the ship open besides the Pool Bar when you were in GC?
