  1. If you booked Fantastica experience you get one free change, so no fee for change, call and talk to agent.
  2. Looks like Larissa to me, she was on a B2B we did on the Freedom this Spring, delightful.
  3. Just off Divina two weeks ago, new Dinner menu, now offering “daily favorites” which include a delicious salmon and decent steak, along with various other choices, so our evening meal had many choices and was always excellent. Everyone seemed to enjoy the large shrimp from the appetizer section as well as the french onion soup. For the first time on MSC we had lobster on elegant night also.
  4. We cruise between MSC and Carnival. Both different experiences. Haven’t cruised Royal for many years. MSC - have never cruised yacht club and have had wonderful experiences on MSC. Have cruised interior as well as balcony. Room Steward still does cabins twice a day. Just back from Divina (on during Ian) and food great, dining room now offers “daily choices” every night which include salmon (delicious) and steak (equally as good). Also for first time had lobster on elegant night on MSC. Buffet also excellent. Service throughout the ship is great. Various music in the different venues. No problems and/or complaints from us.
  5. Yesterday, October 10, Carnival updated website re Bermuda travel, whew!
  6. This evening, letter from Carnival, no testing for vaccinated, whew!
  7. Megan, I “hope” you have the most out of everyone, you deserve it!
  8. Does anyone know the email format for MSC? Is it possible to contact an Officer to offer appreciation and thanks?
  9. How do we get Carnival folks to wake up? Supervisor I talked to “saw” the contradictions but all she could tell me is that “whoever” updates Carnival’s website hasn’t done so yet. We arrive in Bermuda October 25, you also?
  10. I agree that surely Carnival is aware by now, get it done! I would like to rely on Bermuda’s update but am afraid we will get to Port of Norfolk and get a Carnival rep that still thinks testing is required. And yes, we have completed the Travel Authorization and given Bermuda $40 each. One poster suggested getting tested “just in case” but testing locations these days are hard to come by.
  11. I do not do Facebook so hopefully John will read this. Or can somebody contact John via Facebook re this issue for those of us on the Magic arriving on the 25th so we can have updated information instead of "wondering?" Bermuda has updated their website to say that testing for vaccintated cruisers arriving October 25th onward is no longer required. Carnival does not seem to be "aware" of that and still says cruisers are required to show testing when boarding. I have called and talked to several Carnival employees and get a different story evey time but the one thing that is consistent is they all say that several people have called and asked the same question since Bermuda's announcement. Carnival's website says cruisers need to comply with country visiting and yet it still says we need to be tested. Help!
  12. Right, wouldn't you think Carnival could get their own website updated, just read what Bermuda is now saying, frustrating for me anyway. Not sure what other cruisers who dock in Bermuda October 25 are doing.
  13. Apparently, crazy. But as far as Carnival goes, still in a dilemma, either a) Carnival has not updated their website or b) Carnival still says we need to be tested even though Bermuda does not require it. Let's get it figured out Carnival.
  14. Called PVP just now and she transferred me to a Carnival Supervisor because I was the fourth person who was asking her the same question, and she said that Carnival has not received the Bermuda updates yet, it is so clear on the Bermuda website, cannot someone in the Carnival hierarcy read that and contact Bermuda and get the website updated. Some days it feels like we are going "one step forward and two steps back." My grumble of the day! So again it's wait and see.
  15. Just talked to a Supervisor and she said Operations Management has not received Bermuda updates yet, (of course they haven't), so Carnival's web site does not reflect the "no testing required" information. Hopefully soon! As I think I previously said (also in middle of Ian clean up on Gulf Coast so mind a little foggy) when I went on Bermuda's site to apply for the Travel Authorization it repeatedly said that "testing was no longer required."
  16. Called Carnival and was told Bermuda gave all cruise lines guidelines and YES testing is still required - how much sense does that make?
  17. Just called Carnival - we arrive in Bermuda October 25 - agent said that Bermuda gave all cruise lines guidelines as to what is required and “yes” testing is still required - how much sense does that make!?
  18. I was excited to read this also but Carnivals site still says necessary - do we think that is so? I emailed PVP but haven’t heard back yet.
  19. Well now I too am confused. I was relieved when Bermuda said "testing" was no longer required when arriving on a cruise ship effective October 25, 2022 but when I went on Carnival's site it states that their cruisers to Bermuda (and cruises over 16 days) are still required to be tested. Crazy! Am I reading this right? Or are they referring to the TA Bermuda travellers?
  20. Completed Application yesterday for arrival October 25 on Magic. Several times on the website it states that testing is not longer required (for vaccinated) October 25 onwards. $40 is still required. When you start the process it asks what Ship you are arriving on. You need to download your Proof of Vaccination and you need your Passport Information.
  21. Just off Divina, had “easy plus” and for us was fine. MSC packages are also good on private island. Water, large/small bottles included, flat or bubbly. Also outside gym there is a “healthy beverage” bar that few take advantage of.
  22. We are sailing on Mera again in January. Just off Divina a couple days ago, again a wonderful cruise. Hope you enjoy MSC as much as we do. Also with Bella you cannot choose Dining time but when we have sailed that category we have always been able to change time/table once on board.
  23. Bella - cannot choose cabin - you said you had Bella booked - do you have a cabin #? Main stage shows - free. Bella - room service has a fee but never use it so cannot help you there. We seleom do excursions either, we enjoy the ship(s), Meraviglia is beautiful, have cruised on her several times.
