  1. That's even better. Think we might turn up at 1130. If we have to wait 15 minutes, it won't kill us. Has muster changed. Have I read somewhere that you go to muster station as soon as you board and then watch the video?
  2. Thank you and now I have another question. Been Caribbean for some time, but because we always arrived around 2pm, we also went to the buffet. Where is the Welcome on Board lunch served? MDR?
  3. Yes, Caribbean. Baltic and Ligurian seem to have 1200 and 1215. We will get there at noon and see what happens.
  4. Question for you. We are staying 2.7 miles from the port and our check in is 1230. We are parking with CPS. So what time would you arrive at the port? I am thinking we need at least 15 minutes or more for CPS to take the car?
  5. But all you have got is a different airline with no In flight entertainment. What is the problem?
  6. Agree, cancellation will be customer's loss. Nowhere would it have said which airline they would be flying with. It seems a major fuss about very little to me.
  7. Totally agree. Never heard such a fuss. What's wrong with a book or a pack of cards. As a Flight Attendant of 16 years, only the last 8 had in flight entertainment. Turn your phone off and guess what your battery will be fine when you get there.
  8. Bring her back safe please. We are on next!! Very strange path that hurricane has.
  9. I shall try and let you know what we find on Aurora in 3 weeks time. Haven't cruised since 2019!
  10. Ha ha. I change mine about every week to 10 days at home, so I certainly don't need them changed more than that on a cruise Same goes for bed sheets.
  11. I thought exactly the same. What a ridiculous excuse.
  12. I have looked at that menu a dozen times and there is nothing that appeals to me. I'm not a steak lover. Used to love the old Italian restaurant on Oriana.
  13. Did Cosol tour years ago. Absolutely excellent. We never do P&O excursions.
  14. That's the one we are doing this October. No refunds for us!
  15. for those who didn't think the ship was moored up when this happened, loads of the passengers were ashore when this happened, so she had been moored up for some considerable time.
  16. I was on Aurora when it happened She's hardly mega.
  17. I suppose if the ship hit a big wave and a passenger fell over and cut their head, the Captain would be blamed for not steering the ship properly? Some people are just part of blame culture.
  18. Absolutely, that's why I find some of these comments just ridiculous. the ship was moored up in a port and got hit by a tremendous storm. These things can and do happen. I would never blame the Captain or the port for this.
  19. They were already in port when this hit!! If you are moored up to the quay with 6 or more huge warps, they should hold. It must have been some wind. As I said before, exactly the same thing happened on Aurora in Rome. Luckily we only broke a few and the tugs were in time to hold us on for 6 hours. It came out of nowhere.
  20. I think as we were both crew, we have a far better feel for this stuff. No way can you hold P&O responsible for a one off storm that was not predicted. We were held on to the quay for 5 hours or more in Civita. I've never seen weather like it before. Did you say Monarch are restarting?
  21. In Rome there was absolutely no warning. We were queueing up to get off, when there was an almighty bang, a warp parted, the gangway fell into the water and within 15 minutes we had 3 tugs holding us on to the quay. Next you will be saying it's P&O's fault if they hit a rogue wave! Nobody can predict these things.
