  1. They often have Filet's available but can always request one the day before and they can arrange. They do have 4 Ounce Filet's on the Children's Menu available and will give you more than one if you desire.
  2. Not a problem for me. I've never gone ashore after B2B processing. Wonder how many would?
  3. Looks like a fun cruise. We have friends from Australia who are also taking the cruise.
  4. One thing you may enjoy with a Sonicare is the batter life. I was recently on a B2B of 30 days and had my portable charger. I was surprised that the battery held a charge and never had to recharge. We lived in Ireland for 3 years and ran our house on dual voltage with transformers. We had many electrical devices with us that at the time weren't dual current. After I ran 220V through a Calculator (Pop) I learned to always read the labels. Couple years back I had an older Roku with us and when we got to Buenos Aires, I found the power supply wasn't 220 compatible and had to go out to find a replacement
  5. The only beds I can remember that couldn't be separated were way back in time - maybe 2012 when they had adjustable beds in RS and Reflection Suites. The beds were attached as the did not have separate controls and when you raised the head both raised.
  6. Really hasn't changed. That is how it has always worked at Port Everglades. B2B's have a choice to either disembark prior to final call usually around 9:00-9:15 and use a Transit Pass to return to the ship. If you use this option you can not re-board until general boarding begins. The other option is to wait for B2B processing where at about 9:30 you are escorted off the ship so they can zero out the ship. During this processing you go through immigration and receive your new sea pass. You are then escorted back aboard and can either have free access to the ship until general boarding OR go ashore like at all other ports but again can not come back aboard until general boarding begins around 11:30. It is much better than Sydney where even B2B must leave the ship and not permitted back aboard until general boarding begins. Once back on board you can not leave the ship.
  7. You are making an assumption that their is a quiet room on Edge Class ships... Even if sewing in Fine Cuts which they wouldn't do I doubt anyone would hear a thing over the noise from the Center Foyer. Not a put down.... just adding a bit of levity.
  8. I have been on a number of cruises where on the roll call there were both quilters and Kniters they arranged a group event and would get together daily for both events.
  9. Probably due to the fact that we are about 6 month prior to the cruise. The app really isn't updated reliably until closer to cruise. To confirm what is available and what you have book. Log on to the website and choose Plan My Cruise. Choose Excursions ---you will be able to filter by port. Top right by your initial - you will see your remaining OBC, The Calendar Icon will show all your bookings. If you click your initials and choose Order History it will show all your orders and cancellations.
  10. You are not assigned an arrival time. When CheckIn begins you CHOOSE a time. The reason for the staggered arrival time is to avoid over crowding at terminal. I always travel in Suites and Suites can arrive at any time and are processed in a different area. If not in a Suite or Zenith you may or may not be denied immediate entrance if there is over crowding. If you wish an early arrival time log in on first day and select the earliest slot.
  11. Sorry the devices you purchased are not dual voltage which is the reason I always recommend reading the label. My SonicCare is dual as well as my electric razor and every hair dryer in my house. Not being confrontational but when one makes a definitive statement a little research may be in order. - according to https://www.electronicproducts.com/electrical-devices-vs-electronic-devices-whats-the-difference/ If it uses electricity as the medium for manipulating information, it is almost surely electronic. Electrical and Electronic devices are comprised of different but overlapping categories but, in short, all electronic devices are also electrical devices, it is a subset.
  12. Your room will have both 220v and 120V outlets. If you check your machine look to see if it is 110/200 compatible then you won't have to worry about a transformer. Almost all electrical products are now dual current.
  13. Following along. I may save you some time as friends are aboard and just looked up the itinerary.
  14. Couple pictures- yes to hot tub and showers.
  15. To my knowledge they are not blocking CC. CC uses a lot of scripts and behind the scenes code gathering data and accessing other websites. They are also embedding adverts on the headers and said bars that contribute to this. The cap on data speed just can't usually handle it. Even with the highspeed there are often lags and if you look on bottom left you will see all the sites being accessed.
  16. I believe your question is that when using the Celebrity App you will see various excursions by day and time under activities. This is just to more easily see what is available by time slot. The only difference from clicking the Excursion tab is the format they are displayed. You can click once on the ship and book from either tab. Also on the My Calendar - your booked excursions will show as well as anything you choose to add to your schedule. The app will give you a reminder so you don't miss it.
  17. I've been doing quite a bit of searching on Regent, Silver Seas ect. Isn't a Penthouse equivalent to a Sky Suite? If not what level category would you compare it to on Celebrity?
  18. Personally I feel it is a sign of a bad Management Team. Often in Politics we would call it flip-flopping. When you implement changes and then reverse yourself one only sows mistrust. It seems like their attitude is to throw spaghetti on the wall and see what sticks. Many companies takes a small subset of their highest level customers and forms an advisory board that they seek opinions when considering making changes. e.g. If you were to ask a board - how do you thing customers would respond to taking away dedicated butlers in Sky Suites....
  19. Really didn't miss much. I would say this change took place 7-8 years ago. Originally you had 2 attendants for your room. One cleaned the bathrooms, hauled the towels and linens and the other one cleaned the room. To be honest when it was change there was zero outcry and no difference in your room. Often the Assistant was a starting role and it was used as a way to train them and for them to become more comfortable speaking English.
  20. Unfortunately not. They of course will receive it and read it themselves but the only time they receive the rewards from management is when you send either a note or fill out the attention to detail form which goes to the Hotel Director.
  21. I have to say I hang out in both places. On many of my Roll Calls they are both dead. Many seem to join but they really don't get active until a month or so before the cruise. One thing I do see is that on the FB site the individual Roll Calls are controlled by an individual and some of these are Travel Agents. They each set the rules and approve and toss people off at will. This is one of the reason for CC restrictions. As many of you may know. CC is owned by Tripadvisor which is probably the reason for their restrictions.
  22. They have to turn it into the pool. I gave our waiter a tip in an envelope and said this is for just you - I don't want you putting it in the pool. He thanked me and said unfortunately I have to put it in the pool. He did say her really appreciated the Mid-Cruise Attention to Detail compliment I had left about him. He said each complement ears him extra time off the ship, free internet minutes and vouchers for the ships store. He said he was also called up by the hotel Director and my compliment was read at the morning meeting. He said it also really helps his career growth.
  23. I am often finding what may be available on M an S class ships are not available on E-Class ships. Having said that I was on Edge recently (last month) and ask for Tomato Soup and a Grilled Cheese which has always been on the Kid's Lunch Menu --- The waiter didn't flinch and delivered it shortly with potato chips. Just what I was in the mood for. Then again sometimes they make exceptions and since we were on the ship for a month they would even get us what we wanted even from MDR and Blu. Usually we would choose the day before to not disrupt service. The MD even suggested a pizza
