  1. I’ve seen it before and seen where max bid significantly dropped. Those that did not check could have overpaid
  2. Here's the citation from https://www.celebritycruises.com/captains-club/enroll#Terms
  3. On this subject - re: Free Premium WiFi - I remember a discussion either here or on FB about that if you are in a Suite with Free WiFi and also Zenith they give you an additional Internet Premium Account. I remember posting something from Celebrity that outlined this but now can't find it. Last month on Edge we had a CS and had the Retreat Host add the additional accounts to our account. We each had 2 accounts for a total of 4. Does anyone have the citation where it is defined? I'll continue looking.
  4. Will be interesting to see the responses. When I was on Edge recently in a CS there was an option available on them Main Menu for Streaming to TV. I tried it and it worked ok but a bit laggy. Same ship but upgrded to a RS on the next cruise and on both TV's the option was missing. There is a streaming option if you get into the menu to select port but could not get it to connect. I use HDMI for the best experience personally.
  5. Years back - The big blue tent they use at ports had it misspelled. It got a lot of chuckles.
  6. Thanks.... we have been on Equinox... would have to look up how many times. We were last on her a year ago for a B2B on the Pacific Coast and really enjoyed her. While many people don't like that she hasn't been revolutionized, we rather like it. We are not into sun bathing so the forward deck really doesn't matter. I actually like it better as on my 10 mile walk, on S-Class ship I wall full forward up the steps --- around the front - down the steps full aft - Up around the Sunset bar and back around. With revolutionized ships I have to use my card to open the gate on each lap. I also like the dark paneled Michael's Club. Can't wait.
  7. Just used Google Translate - with detect language chosen. - It is Portuguese and translates to "Tuesday Apr.22"
  8. Welcome to Zenith Yes Zenith's may go to the Concierge Lunch. I think per the OP request all has been listed with the exception of a Zenith Lunch and possibly a Zenith Drink Reception. These are up to the Captain and Hotel Director. It is not uniformly applied on all sailings. Sometimes they say you have to have x number of Zeniths while on other sailings they have them with much lower numbers. They also have reserved seating for Zenith's at the CC Captain's Toast in the front row. While we aren't allowed to reference FB there is a private group there you may wish to join.
  9. Another option if you want to stick with current agent and get them to address your issue. Start leaving negative feedback on places like Yelp, Twitter Feed, Facebook. In addition you can file a negative report with Better Business Bureau and ASTA (American Sociaty of Travel Agencies. You may also find that filing a complaint with the State Attorney General could be effective.
  10. Even though you pick an arrival time as part of the CheckIn process you can arrive at anytime. At the door you will see a big banner for Suites and Zenith - Just identify yourself as a Suite Passenger and you will be directed to the appropriate area. I would stress sometimes the agents really don't know what they are doing and may direct your to general boarding area. Just ignore them and follow the Suites signs. There will normally be a Suites/Zenith Only area - in Terminal 25 there is an upstairs lounge. You will be processed and permitted to board the ship when boarding begins.
  11. It is hard telling. When on a TA I've picked up locations from Miami, Fl, Paris, France, London, UK and Frankfurt, Germany. It could sometimes change during a single day. Where I particularly see it is I use Google News as my homepage and the news change to IP location. Wonder if using a VPN would work with your company. That way you can specify you are in the U.S.
  12. I had the same. Like Joan I even tried Zenith Desk. They could put in a request only but couldn't over ride the system.
  13. Currently the price of Murano is $60 and Tuscan is $55 both add 20% Gratuity to the bill.
  14. It may be too late but you might look an see if there are any rooms in same category that are still open. They usually let you move a room within same category. eg. S2 to S2
  15. Doing a search there was a thread on this in 2023 - At least one of the weeks is Smooth Jazz Cruise - first week of Feb. Summit is chartered out often for other themed cruises.
  16. Really not a bad location. Remember the Iconic, Villas, Royals Suites and Celebrity Suites are mostly full forward. I was on one and not a bad location except if tendering when they drop anchor. You definitely get an early morning call.
  17. No I was thinking of it but since we had not cruised with them before Jan 1 of last year they pulled our status. With other choice I think Silverseas and Oceania are filtering to the top.
  18. I have a feeling we may be booking soon. I had my agent doing some shopping for me today - I'm quite pleased with what he may have put together. Now all I have to do is talk Iain into the Oceania Suite... I'm at our daughter's place about 100 miles away for a couple days as she has surgery Friday morning, so may slow down negotiations. Yesterday when searching on Oceania they were only offering Port to Port and couldn't get it to over ride. I noticed today Oceania had been upgraded and and they were again offering both. I know some like to hand over everything to a cruise line but really doesn't work for us. We will probably be stopping in Scotland on the way over to Istanbul to visit Iain's Family and after the Istanbul to Barcelona will be going to Lisbon for a Celebrity TA to Buenos Aires. I'm also finding I can do better on Business Class fares than what their uplift is.
  19. You may be able to see a representative list of activities if you look at a current sailing. Often activities are not loaded until 1-2 weeks prior to the cruise. It a seasonal route it may be loaded much earlier.
  20. You may be in luck with Hawaii especially if they do it on a port night. We were on a TA & British Isle cruise and they moved it inside an setup tables around they indoor Aqua Sqa. Personally I would not have accepted the change --- having a nice dinner with the chlorine smell would have really turned me off.
  21. Good luck with Magic Carpet. We were on Edge for most of the month of December and the dinner was a disaster (per one of the servers). Things were flying everywhere due to the high winds. On the second cruse in New Zealand they had everyone bundled in blankets.
  22. Solstice has not been revolutionized nor will there be any revolution in the foreseeable future. She does not have the sundeck and Michael's Club is the original wood paneling etc. I have to agree with many of the other comments about e-Class. For me it is like an airport lounge and a impersonal. One of the real failures of the E-Class are they did not use walls and the specialty restaurants - Fine Cut (overlooking the Martini Bar), Raw on 5, Eden and Bistro as well as Blu are all open and the noise is not what I would expect for enjoyable dining. Give me Murano and Tuscan anytime ----- far better experience even if you do not have as many choices.
  23. Personally I think one of the best places is on the deck above the swimming pool. As you proceed through the docent will point out things on both sides and many passengers shift from side to side especially when wild life is pointed out.
  24. Might want to take a read of this article. https://thepointsguy.com/reviews/tap-portugal-new-a330-biz-review/
