  1. I found it easily found with Google by typing "Celebrity Captain's Club E-Mail" cec@celebrity.com
  2. You will be perfectly dressed for you cruise. I find that Alaska Cruises are more relaxed than say a European Cruise. As weather can be variable, I would suggest planning on a layered look.
  3. The app can be hit or miss on the menus pre-cruise. On our last cruise on Apex B3B they didn't' load the menu for each cruise until the day of the cruise. After that it was about 99% accurate.
  4. The tasting menu does include wine pairing. I don't drink so the waitress said it wouldn't work but she would be glad to bring me as many entree's and starters as I wished and said she could have them downsize them. All I can say is just order a starter, main and desert was more than I could eat, but she did "screw up" and brought an extra entree and desert. She chuckled and said you have to try this one.
  5. If I recall correctly Room Service does not begin until 6:00 AM and delivered in a 30 minute window. As other have indicated coffee is available 24 hours a day in OVC. Another option is I bring along a travel french press and your favorite coffee. I always bring mine along with favorite coffee. I just put my coffee in it and go to the OVC and fill with hot water. By the time I'm back to my room it is ready to plunge.
  6. The Multiplier for Status was posted when it was first implemented. While you analysis is quite sound, I've won about 12 upgrades and have won them for as little as 40% of Maximum and have been Rejected with a full Maximum Bid with Zenith Status. Looking to take your vacation to the next level? You’re in luck. MoveUp allows you to bid on a stateroom upgrade after you’ve purchased your cruise. As a valued Captain’s Club member your bid gets a bonus boost based on your tier. So, you get more value than what you bid. Classic members get an extra 1% multiplier, Select members get a 2% multiplier, Elite members get a 3% multiplier, Elite Plus members get a 4% multiplier, and Zenith members get a 5% multiplier.
  7. I don't remember seeing one but wasn't joining the ship in Rotterdam. Due to the changes in ports Our TransAtlantic disembarked in Rotterdam and we took a week off in Amsterdam. Our next Cruise Departed Amsterdam and again returned to Rotterdam.
  8. I've seen it on every cruise. Once I take out the Max of $300 or $400, I am locked out from further withdrawals for 24-48 hours unless I churn about 25%. It may be how much you have taken off in a single day.
  9. Not sure of Reflection since she has not been revolutionized. Regardless it is very easy to go to the Cash Cage. All of the ships I've been on that that I've used the cash cage they give you slot slips. I played a little (very little) combined all my slips onto a single cash slip and cashed out. I then took that slip to the Cash Cage and they gave me the cash. They are correct, you can't credit it back to your room but I've always been able to cash out. The only time I've had a casino slip I couldn't cash out was when I bought one of the Slot Packages (which I will never do again).
  10. Even though we always have Premium Packages I often drink the melted ice water. In my humble opinion it tastes as good or better than the stuff in the can (which is filtered water). My preference is for San Pellegrino. I also like to take the canned water with us when on excursions.
  11. I have used Private Journey before and was very pleased with it. The main reason I chose this option was it was the first cruises after Covid and at many points you could not tour on your own. We didn't want to do a Group Tour with lots of folks. The prices for us worked out real similar to Tour by Locals. Since we had a Celebrity Private Tour - the head of excursions escorted us off the ship, found our guide and processed us through the port security where we were required to have our forehead scanned for temperature.
  12. Hoping no damage. A Princess ship hit the dock in San Francisco last week and the cruise was delayed 4 days while damage was repaired. Those sudden micro bursts are not uncommon in the Med. We were on Edge a couple years ago and a wind Blast hit us just was we were leaving Livorno. Things went flying and a Star Code issued. About 25% of the ceiling panels adjacent to where the park Magic Carpet were ripped away and were danging. It took almost 10 days of the TA Crossing for them to be repaired and replaced.
  13. I know from a lot of experience on 8 different ships that the sweet spot on maximum you can withdrawal at one time is $300. When I've done this unless I Gamble X amount an auto lock goes on my seapass but was able to do another $300 on Iain's seapass. On Apex in May the amount was $400. On the revolutionized ships I was able to withdraw the ships directly from the Slot Machine using the instructions the Cash Cage gives you. On Solstice I had to go to the Cash Cage and they would charge in increments of $100 and give you $100 slot slips. On ships that you can do yourself - You tap your card and create an account. Default Password is MMDD of birthdate. You then change your password. Click on Casino and Charge Card. They show default of $20, $40 $60 etc just click other and enter $300. If you account is locked it will not show you the option for Room Charge and will only allow you to see your points and free play.
  14. Would recommend you posting on the Roll Call for your cruise. You will have a better success of reaching others on your cruise.
  15. Thanks for the report. Hope all is sorted out quickly.
  16. Looking forward to your trip report. Hope you have a wonderful cruise. Since we will next be sailing on Edge I'll be interested to get a little excitement going.
  17. If you wish to buy in advance you will need to call in order to get the discount. There really is no delay in buying it once on the ship. When you create your account there is a choice to select the WiFi in the App and the discounts are already applied.
  18. There is indeed - At least when arrived we were directed to a separate area and were processed so quickly and escorted aboard I don't think we were there more than a minute or two. Amsterdam terminal was a little different than most. If you had your luggage per-tagged you just dropped it on a moving conveyor belt without any human interaction. If you didn't have tags there was a line with about 100 waiting to get tags. We initially didn't have our but I found a copy shop in Amsterdam and printed them.
  19. Gary - Look forward to reading along with your new adventure. We did an Alaska Ground Tour a couple of years ago and loved it. Hope you are as lucky as us and have clear sunny conditions at Denali.
  20. From personal experience there is not necessarily any relationship between when one bids and the odds of winning. Except for PlusGrade the Vendor that administers the program I don't think any of us know the logarithm they utilize. From what I have observed it really depends on What you Bid, Number of Cabins Available, Current Room Classification and CC Level (each level gets a bonus X% uplift). I have bid the first day they open for bidding and lost and have bid on a last minute booking 3 weeks before the cruise and Won. I of course have bid months in advance and advised of my upgrade 3-4 days prior to the cruise. The only thing that is sure is that if you loose you will be advised at 48 hours prior to the cruise.
  21. I've found that if you just tell the bar tender what you wish (e.g. Mock Tail) and what package you have they will fix you up. I should however point out that some non-alaholic drinks e.g. Premium OJ, Sparkling Water (Evian and San Pelligrino) and Energy Water are not covered under the Basic Package but are covered under the Non-Alcoholic drink Package. https://www.celebritycruises.com/blog/cruise-drink-packages
  22. Unfortunately Celebrity prohibits Extension Cords - I have had one flagged and my baggage went to the Naughty Room. I now just have them bring me one. Interesting Google Result- Before you pack an extension cord, check with your cruise line. Some — like Carnival, MSC, Norwegian and Virgin Voyages — permit guests to use power cords in their cabins. Cunard, Royal Caribbean and Celebrity Cruises do not. Apr 18, 2023
  23. Unfortunately that is more the norm than the exception. Even when booking onboard I usually get a confirmation and told I would receive one via e-mail also but nothing ever arrived. I usually book on my own and then transfer it to an agent within the allowable time frame to get additional OBC and have them control the booking. To me it's a win-win. Whenever there's a reduction my agent always is able to apply the price matching.
  24. Look forward to you Live Post. Hope you are able to relax and enjoy.
  25. The amount of OBC would be helpful. If the total amount is at or below $600 you can probably pull off $300 each at the Slots. Technically they often warn that unless you gamble at least 50% your account (not win but churn through slots) will be locked from further withdrawals at the slots. You can either play for awhile or cash in - even if locked out you can at least reduce the amount.
