  1. Personally I find that Celebrity uses the term strenuous far to often. I would suggest reading the description and choose on your own. I find that often if the walk is over a mile they consider it strenuous. If you are comfortable walking 1-3 miles on uneven surfaces I would think you will be comfortable on any of the tours. We were on a cruise recently in Portugal and went to an island with a hike. They offered two different hikes - One to the top of the island (which was definitely invigorating) and they other took a rather flat path in the opposite direction.
  2. Of course they have fries. LOL Can you imagine a hamburger without fries.
  3. Your Gown is beautiful as usual. I may have to give Fine Cut a second try. Our last visit wasn't memorable and we really aren't big beef eaters. I just wish they had Murano on the Edge Class ships.
  4. I believer T&C are determined by Country of Residence. I know for a fact that as a U.S. Resident I have repriced many bookings I've made on board and never lost any OBC. I do know that many terms for UK, Ireland and EC have much different terms and afford certain protections that U.S. bookings don't get.
  5. To my knowledge they are not open on Embarkation day. Really a shame. I just checked the app and doesn't show open.
  6. Great. Yikes that's a lot of Protein in your drink. The also have ice tea (not as good as al Bacio in MDR, Luminae, Blu as well as Ocean View Cafe (dispenser powdered tea)
  7. Unless in a Suite - Ocean View, Sushi on 5 (al la carte), Mast Bar (Hamburgers and Hot Dogs)
  8. Agree - They do say they will get you to the ship but don't tell you that it could cost you additional. I missed a flight due to late arrival (not considered an airlines fault) The airlines put me on a wait list but could not get me to Rome on time. Called FBC and they said my ticket (pre-covid) was an AA only ticket and could not be transferred to another airline. I had to quickly book a United ticket using miles to make it on time. It is easiest to realize that FBC is nothing more than any other travel agent except have ties to Celebrity.
  9. Ahhh.. definitely understand you are referring to, something like Ensure or Boost. My daughter had lost so much weight when in the hospital she was drinking 3 of those a day. Unfortunately never seen anything even similar on a Celebrity Ship. Wonder if you could contact Special Needs - form attached https://www.celebritycruises.com/content/dam/celebrity/pdf/Celebrity-Guest-Special-Needs-Form.pdf They list Ensure as an item to request near the bottom of the form. Access Department at (866) 592-7225 (voice) or local number (954) 628-9708, fax (954) 628-9622, send an e-mail to special_needs@celebrity.com
  10. Their smoothies are actually protein drinks - at least I would consider things like these to be a protein drinks. They are all served at room temperature where I consider a smoothy to be icy. Refuel - Peanut Butter, Banana, Cocoa, Almond mil and Flax Seeds Antioxidant - Blueberry Blackberry, Strawberry, Coconut Milk, Ginger and Oat It may be my misunderstanding what a Protein Drink is, but this is the closest you will get on a Celebrity ship.
  11. It is true on Edge Class and Revolutionized M and S Class ships.
  12. I really enjoyed that private little hallway. I initially was concerned that it would be noisy since it was cut out of the Sky Lounge but it was really quiet. Our hallway was abuzz one evening when the Guest in the Reflection Suite forgot to turn on the the frosted switch in the shower hanging out the side of the ship. It wasn't pretty. LOL
  13. Never had a bad lunch in Luminae. Service can be slow in all restaurants on the first day as waiters and passengers get to know each other. I don't particularly care as I'm not doing anything except unpacking. Lobster Rolls, like other food, is subjective. It is warm water lobster, the rolls aren't like those you would get in Maine and the portion is relatively small. If not full order a second or a second entree. You will not starve for sure.
  14. Yes they have them on ALL ships in the Aqua Spa Cafe - They are covered by the Premium Package but not basic
  15. Easiest way to check prices are to go to cruise planner under your cruise. Usually pre-cruise there is a discount (currently 8%) The prices by restaurant are fleet wide and don't vary by ship. CC discounts also apply but may have to call to get the discount or applied once on board. You can also use the app - Tuscan Grill 64.90 +20% tip Fine Cut 65.00 but discounted by 8% to $58.99 plus 20% tip First night discounts also apply for many restaurants
  16. I believe this menu is still the current. The new one has a different shape but last cruise everything was the same. as this one
  17. That is a good sign your bid was accepted - especially if the others show cancelled. I have recently experienced that and a day later it came back to where I could modify it. I eventually was upgraded.
  18. That's exciting to hear. I have a couple bookings on our upcoming cruises and trying the New Eden menu
  19. Excited to follow along on your adventure. Look forward to hearing about the Prestige Class seats on Korean.
  20. We had the same experience on Edge. It was so noisy we couldn't even carry on a conversation. It was even louder when they did the "Light Show". It soured us on Fine Cut and never went back.
  21. Yes. The deposit is the only item in a NR. If you cancel or change your reservation you are charged a $100 pp fee. If cancel after the $100 pp the remainder is sent as a FCC that must be used within one year. Many people pay the extra fee for a refundable deposit so they can change or cancel and get everything back. I recently paid for a Refundable deposit for a cruise in 2024 - Main reason was it is only a place holder to block the cabin and the room type and when I'm on my next cruise I plan on booking in onboard as a NR and then cancel my original refundable booking.
  22. Interesting to hear about the Raspberry Pistachio desert is still on board. It is one of my favorites. For awhile when they published their new menus in Luminae were showing they changed the Chef B's items
  23. I find it so refreshing to see such a positive critique. After almost a month of gloom and doom and threats of cancelling cruises, it's reassuring that the "Chicken Little" predictions are proving to be all hot air.
