  1. They come around and offer drinks to all if you are gambling. Their is no tier requirement.
  2. You will have a wonderful time. We were on Solstice for a B2B in December. She is in beautiful condition, albeit not Revolutionized. The staff is incredible . The Retreat host, Mar is one of the best in the fleet. Food was both well presented and tasty. If you are able book a whale watching with Cabo Whale Watching - best I've ever done and reasonable.
  3. Just a rude comment. BTW CC has a wonderful feature - Click your name icon and choose ignore list. You can put those on your list and will never see a post from them again.
  4. It is exactly at 48 hours prior to sailing. That is when I've always received my rejections. I believe it also co-insides with when the ship has to submit final planned manifest to Homeland Security.
  5. Means you have the lowest Blue Chip (casino) level. You played at least $5
  6. It's weird how this "Bug" is roaming. 2 weeks ago it happened to me but not Iain. Fixed by the described method. Last night Iain's disappeared but not mine and fixed his using the same process.
  7. My experience is the discounts aren't stacked. In order to apply you need to call CC. Once on the ship you can select the package and the discounts are already included using the app. Saying that I have heard of some that were able to get the discount applied on a sale price.. Often depends on the agent and their understanding. You also get a certain number of minutes free with you CC level.
  8. My experience is that all of the bars have hard copy menus laying out. Most recently on Solstice in December. Not sure if the reason for copying them was use prior to cruise. I see them posted on CC on a regular basis.
  9. When we were living in Ireland there was a glut of lamb in the EC and Lamb was our cheapest meat. Really liked the more flavorful lamb. In America it's on the pricey side as is New Zealand Lamb. I saw a small rack (smallest I've ever seen) yesterday and it was $18 US
  10. Instead of sitting around whining on CC why not unleash some of the energy and anger on the Cymen Island Social media sites. It may be a good location to obtain information on the law. By the way on one of their tourism sites they are indicating bars on the island are bustling.

  12. When I read the sky is falling posts on this thread, all I can do is scratch my head. Seems logical if I need a specific drink or item to consume I would pick it up the night before unopened can or bottle and stick it in the room refrigerator.
  13. One thing I like is that earlier this year they started having the Cob Salad on the menu daily. I often get it but have them modify it - I'm not a fan of the Nueske Bacon (Pork Belly ) and have them substitute crispy bacon, additional avocado and blue cheese. The one item I miss is they use to have a Lamb Burger on some days in lieu of the Luminae Burger. To me a Lamb Burger is far better.
  14. Thanks - that makes it really clear - Glad to hear they have the door hanger menu.
  15. The 21 days is only a place holder on the standard pop up. In my experience I have seen it not open until 14 days prior to sailing and as far out as 45. Normally when I write I get a response but often takes a day or two.
  16. Reports I've read, it applies to Michael's Club as well. I just don't know how I'm going to survive. Opps I forgot I don't drink alcohol.
  17. Enjoyed reading along every morning with my coffee. Hope you are on another cruise soon so I can again follow your Live posts.
  18. My understanding is that once Starlink is implemented on a ship the basic package is still throttled to the same bandwidth it was previously set to. Even on the High Speed they throttle to the speeds you read - especially upload.
  19. My understanding is that currently if you book Aqua or Above it automatically includes Drinks, Tips and Wifi. I would love to be able to book without any perks and would welcome anyone that finds a way to do so. I do believe that there are some in Suites that do not have these perks. They would be those that booked CC or below and then upgraded to a Suite.
  20. I haven't been on Reflection but when on Solstice in December (also not revolutionized when they remove the basketball area) Pickle ball was setup and there was a line of 10-15 waiting to play the winner of each round. They had the net setup. Court marked and paddles and balls available.
  21. To answer your question. On Sea days many of the restaurants are open for lunch including MDR, Luminae and Lawn Club. There may be others. It is also nice to take a break on a port intensive cruise that arrive in a new port every morning at the crack of dawn. Nice to sleep in and have a leisurely breakfast and recharge.
  22. I also enjoyed that. Often deserts look different when they arrive than the description. With the tray I always knew what I was about to receive.
  23. Here's the Stock 2019 - Day 4 menu Looks like the swapped the Scallop Cappaccio for the Pig Feet version --- Definitely not trying the Pig Trotters.. I'm sure it's all in my head -- and no Head Cheese for me either
  24. All I can say- is when McDonald's had the "Pink Slime" in 2011, it grossed me out enough that I have only had one McDonald's. That one, I will blame on my grandson.
