You have me chuckling. We were in Spain with our kids. My son was about 12 at the time and at a local beach. A lady in her early 50's plopped down near us an Popped her top off. I think his eyes were the size of watermelons. I just joked with him and said Welcome to Spain.

I of course can't talk about the trial but I can comment the Judge is incredible. He should be a instructor as he is teaching the jury so much about the legal system and will stop and talk to us about why things are happening and definition of the legal terms that are being thrown in ... He also has a tradition of leaving us a chocolate on each of our seats each morning. I do have so much respect for @GenerationX and how much effort the attorneys do while at trial. While I had really dreaded serving on a long trial, I'm finding the whole process of a real trial so different than what is portrayed on TV.

ohhhh...not you have my attention... My favorite.

That is what happened with us on Edge a couple months ago. They would just ask for your preference and then deliver it on a plate. Just isn't the same. Kinda like them not flaming some of the dishes at your table. Those little things are what made Murano special.

Really need a @GenerationX live post to survive the next couple weeks. I'm spending my summer in a place that Charla feels comfortable. A Court Room. I was summoned for Jury Duty and landed on a Murder Case that is projected to last through the end of July. I will be joining Charla as a virtual tag along as I waste time during the numerous breaks. Charla, hope you enjoy the Signature Suite. We booked it many years ago and really loved it. With the tall ceilings and Powered Privacy mirror between the bedroom and bathroom it feels so much larger. I do have to share a story. At the end of the private hallway is the Reflection Suite. One of the features of the suite is a Glass Shower that hangs off the side of the ship. The buzz in Retreat one evening was that the gentleman staying there forgot to push the privacy button that makes the glass opaque. At least we all hoped he had forgotten.

I have to agree with you. Sometimes it doesn't come down to the Macaroon but the principle combined with other failures and disappointment you have experienced. -
I'm curious if the OP was referencing using OBC for Additional Gratuities at end of the cruise vs those charged daily to ones room.

You should have no trouble with Starlink and apps like Zoom. Celebrity throttles their Starlink on Premium to 5 Down and 2.5 Upload and never had a problem at those speeds with Zoom. Actually have no problem streaming Netflix. I'm curious about Cunard. Do they have both a basic and a Premium Internet? Other question is whether you are able to stream with the internet you have. -

I would have to agree with you on many lines besides Cunard the first night is usually a disaster as all the new guests servers settle in and get accustomed to each other. But in the OP's defense being served cold food is not acceptable. I'm happy it seems to be tuning positive. -
Recently I've been noticing they do not automatically bring it by but bring it over by request. Many cruise lines are doing similar.... if you know about certain option and ask for them they are delivered but cutting costs by not delivering like they use to. One time recently they asked us what type of cheese and didn't even bring the cart over. Some of these cut backs are the reasons we are exploring other cruise lines. In all fairness I even read the same things on the premium line threads.

To my knowledge you can not create a hotspot on Apple Product using Wifi. It is possible with a cellar connection. If I recall correctly when firing up my Firestick on Apex and Edge - once I select the Celebrity Wifi - A popup window appeared for Logon If one does not pop I open the Browser and type guest.onboardicafe.com This will then give you the screen you usually see on your phone for Username and Password.

LOL --- I think many of us know Keeping up Appearances and Hyacinth Bucke's "Royal Doulton with the hand painted periwinkles"?

In my case I have two open cruise - pre-final payment. When my agent checked he was told I would loose OBC from booking online and gratuities if repriced which would be more than the Zenith Savings.

We have always done it on one phone at the same time. After completion you have to check both names in the check box. Usually I just watch it and check both names and all is good. Never had a problem with having to watch again.

I tend to eat a low fat diet by choice and find it very easy by selecting those items I would normally eat at home. I select Chicken and Fish for most of my meals (requesting any sauces on the side) double portions of Veg. Desert is difficult but most times they can come up with low fat frozen yogurt. Other times I might Order a desert and just have a couple spoonfuls.

I think I will just leave it behind and find a substitute. Security checkers have a mind of their own. Give a man a uniform and they want to take charge. As an aside, I have Jury Duty and was selected as a Juror for a Murder Trial. The first day when going through security they took a tap measure I had in my backpack and said it was considered a weapon. When picking it up when leaving. I said to a different guard, "I didn't realize a tape measure was a weapon --- he said "Neither had I"

I eat at least one orange a day and it really helps peel the orange. I cut through the skin a circle at the top and then perpendicular. Really easy to peel. They do sell a plastic tool that does the same so will probably just pick one up.

It is usually available the morning of departure - no exact time. Don't worry about it. You can watch it while waiting for your Uber from the airport or just wait until you are in your room and watch it on your TV.

Apex - Live June 27-July 8- Ireland, Iceland, and Scotland –
Jim_Iain replied to dsa181920's topic in Celebrity Cruises
Looking forward to following along. You will really enjoy the cruise. Great ports and as you said the temperatures will be refreshing but could also be wet. Good luck with the Shetland Islands. It was to be the high point of our British Isle Cruise but the weather didn't cooperate and the stop was cancelled. -
How early do you typically book flights for a cruise?
Jim_Iain replied to missingyou's topic in Cruise Air
I don't think there is a perfect time and there are pro's and con's of booking early and late. I booked a first Class air for Nov 29 of this year (Thanksgiving Weekend) and got a rate of $550 pp. This week got notified of a flight change by 1 hour 44 minutes getting us home 4 hours later than originally scheduled. Delta will not allow me to change to an earlier flight for free as the departure is less than 2 hours as theri policy requires. The ticket is refundable but the rates have gone up to $800-2,200 per person. I guess we just have to put up withe the change - still shopping and hope to see a price drop. As a took I use Flights.Google.Com and setup alerts. If you check you will see the range of prices and setup alerts for price change -
