  1. Can you see @twangster through your binoculars on Radiance????
  2. Happiest of Birthdays wished to you Bonnie on your latest trip around the sun. I hope you have a wonderful celebration. Cheers to you today!!
  3. Same here I am a grill guy. Something about "Man vs Fire." I hear great things about Sous Vide but I like hanging at my grill cocktail in one hand and pair tongs in the other.
  4. Everyone tips differently. A lot has to do with what you can afford but we usually tip at least $20 for dinners and $10 for lunches in specialty restaurants.
  5. No I don’t do that, just a pass line or don’t pass bet with odds after point is established and then only 6 & 8 place bet. I shy away from 4,5,9 and 10. So if it’s a $10 minimum table I’ll have $10 on the pass line and after the point is established say 4, I’ll put a $12 bet on each of numbers 6 & 8 . So I may have a minimum of $34 on the table. If the point is 8 I’ll only put a place bet on the 6. There are a bunch of strategies and everyone plays differently. This is just how I play. Someone else may have a whole different perspective and way they play.
  6. Here are the basic odds and how I play them on a place bet. Place bets 6&8 7to6 always $6 increments 5&9 3 to 5 always $5 increments 4&10 2 to 1 always bet $20 I always put a place bet on the 6 & 8 because next to the 7, they have the second most combinations to rolling, 5 and a 1, 4 and a 2, 3 and a 3…etc.
  7. It’s a great game once you get the hang off it. But, you can loose very fast. I just play pass or don’t pass with odds and and place bet on 6&8. Stay away from the proposition bets.
  8. Bravo Wayne on another fantastic review with your awesome story telling skills. Your honesty about the food is something I hope Royal will notice. Despite the food issues, I too would love to sail on Vision before they put her out to the scrapyard. I truly love these small ships too. Thanks again for your kind words I’ll be doing a semi live in October on Adventure. Looking forward to hearing your next adventure. Hopefully the food will be better. Cheers, Greg
  9. The 18% is added but if we have a good waiter which is most of the time I will tip extra cash.
  10. Great! Don't do anything that might get you in trouble. It seems every port is different. I've been lucky in that I have not (knock on wood) gotten yelled at or a whistle blown. It's a fun game to see what you can get but always be on the safe side. Loving the food porn. We will cruise Celebrity for the first time next April. Really looking forward to it.
  11. That is so cool. I'm sure she is smiling down on you. It will be a place you can visit again with fond memories of a life well lived. @DaniDanielle Sorry I missed the original post. Congratulations to you and Charlie!
  12. @ValerieJo Congratulations on your son's graduation! Never too late to go back. i did it after getting one degree and then going back after 3 years.
  13. Once you get on board go to the MDR stand and try to make reservations for the whole week with a time you would like. I find they will accommodate you.
  14. I'm so sorry for your loss. I hope you have a great cruise and can reflect on the great memories you have of her.
  15. @twangster So interesting to see your pictures. The engineering that goes into those locks is amazing. Makes me really want to book this cruise. Thank you for sharing all your pictures.
  16. @h20skibum Mark I’m thinking of you and your family and hoping for all things to work out and have good results.
