Our ship stops for an overnight in Cartagena. We did a city tour on our last cruise here and the only thing we are interested in seeing is the old fort. The last tour we took did not go inside the fort, only a drive by. I would use one of Celebrity cruise's excursions except I can't find one that includes going into the fort. Any suggestions on how to get from the cruise port to the fort and back?

I cruised Celebrity before and again early this year and thought the food went downhill but was still OK in the MDR however the buffet was almost non-existent for dinner. Has it gone further downhill or was it OK?

How do we do medical travel insurance for our grandchildren? They are under 10.

Is the Sunset Veranda on Eclipse a good choice for 2 adults and 2 children 6 and 4?

Not sure about Disney however with other cruise lines $100 is just not worth the extra hassle of a TA. I have heard some TAs can be great however not my experience.

I did not look at the map that closely. It is only a small sliver where the price switches from 34 to 38.

I looked at upcoming cruises and NY is NOT one of the departure ports for fall 2024.

FYI, on the Cunard boards they are still complaining that you no longer have to wear a jacket or suit every day for dinner. I however, will still bring my tux for the next Cunard cruise.

That was a shutdown, not a default. Who knows what would happen. It is possible 2/3 of the banks in the US could fail. Air traffic control could be shut down. Closing Glacier Bay would be the least of the problems. Anything is possible.

So you don’t know what the price is when you go on the waitlist. It could be several times the price listed on the website?

How are waitlist cruises priced? Do the prices on the website mean anything?

Bring really good binoculars with you if you want to see wildlife. 10x absolute maximum unless they are stabilized.

Are you docked or tendered? If docked do you have to take the shuttle? If you are tendered or have to take the shuttle I would use the ship’s excursion.

FYI, our. Cruise itinerary said VilleFranche however we tendered to Nice. Once you are onboard you need to check.
