  1. On one of my cruises Aqua is pricing out cheaper than Concierge for AI.
  2. I don't always travel Celebrity so FCC is not very useful.
  3. For $1400 dollars difference I would book NRD however the difference in price between refundable and NRD can vary. On one cruise I booked the difference was below $200 so I booked refundable, just in case.
  4. My cruise in January originally had Prime Rib the first night however when I checked today it changed. No more Prime Rib.
  5. In the past it would either let me make a bid or come back and essentially say not yet. Is it broken today?
  6. If you are looking for them for a specific cruise they tend to sell out early.
  7. I was wondering what the benefits were of a Sunset Veranda (not the larger Family Verandas) over a regular Veranda cabin?
  8. I would still be upset. They really screwed up.
  9. This is the link from the US: Vaccination and testing requirements for your voyage (cunard.com) As bluemarble stated, no info past December for the QM2.
  10. This is NOT unique to Cunard. Royal Carribean does this (daily charges show up as pending and then slowly fall off) as well as many hotels.
  11. If you live in the United States, there is federal law that specifically applies to credit cards that do not necessarily apply to debit cards. Look at 15 U.S. Code § 1643 - Liability of holder of credit card.
  12. Inside and OV yes. They typically start dropping the price for a veranda for those cruises that are not as popular when you are under 60 days and a lot are available. Also, they can give hefty discounts to in state residents. While it does happen, I believe that low bids rarely win veranda.
  13. On other cruise lines I have had my credit card charged multiple times and then the charges were cancelled. Not sure what happens with debit cards. In the USA there are legal protections when using credit cards that do not apply to debit cards.
  14. The probability of winning with a minimum bid is very low.
  15. We did Tuscan on the first night because of a discount and a lot of OBC. Not sure if it is worth it otherwise. Le Petit Chef did not interest us. Did not get a chance to try Sushi.
  16. It is not just the pathogens. Many of the passengers just make a mess. I have also seen people take some food onto their plate and then put it back.
  17. The buffet on Summit was decent when the crew served the items. Will have to forget about it now that it is self serve.
  18. FYI, with 8 hours in port you have enough time to venture outside the city. I have not been there since the 2 last hurricanes however, it used to be a nice place to visit for several days.
  19. There is always a chance that Disney may offer a shuttle at the last minute. Check when you get on-board.
  20. The Calendar is all wrong on the website for our cruise? We depart June 20 however, when I log in the website calendar has embarkation for June 19 and June 20th as a sea day. It also has the wrong dates for the cities. Has anyone else encountered this?
  21. In the real world there are 2 types of bidding, Sealed bids or Open (i.e., continuous) bidding. Either can be fair however, Celebrity should clearly state it has one or the other.
