My travel agent forwarded me an email from Azamara yesterday that because of many airline disruptions, ChoiceAir was working on those that were within the next 7 days. My cruise is in 3 weeks and I have heard nothing from either ChoiceAir or my airline, so I went online and checked on my flights using my airline confirmation number and discovered that both my outgoing and return flights had changed (thankfully not canceled). I have signed up for text alerts, but don’t really have faith in that.

Yes, we saw him onboard Quest a few years ago and thought he was wonderful.

This is kind of a sore spot with me. I bite the bullet and buy the package because it is too slow to pay by the minute, but it really should just be included.

Glad to hear it was quiet! That’s one of the reasons why we usually have our pre dinner drinks in the Discoveries Bar. The noise level is usually tolerable.

You take these things in stride, unlike (seemingly) many others, who seem to expect things to be perfect on a maiden voyage. I salute your attitude!

Boo hoo. This seems to happen on every single inaugural cruise. Makes me wonder why people are so eager to take them.

I can vouch for Chef Nathan. He was chef on the Quest and is very good imo.

You might want to give Azamara a try before booking a world cruise, just to see if it’s a good fit for you.

As I said, we will probably pass on the Knowlton excursion. Prefer to leave it to our imaginations.

Well, on my Christmas cruise on Quest, at the pool, there was an endless loop of the same 70’s/80’s tape. I thought it would drive me mad. Be careful what you wish for

Hmmm. I’m pretty sure I have used it for extra gratuities in the specialty restaurants. I know I have in the spa.

Veranda Plus cabins are no bigger and veranda cabins. They just have a few more amenities, IMHO, not worth the extra cost.

My testing site won’t, fortunately.

No, We will be taking a test through our local health department, the results of which will be emailed to me while we are in transit. I can show them or not. There is no testing requirement to enter Portugal, only to board Azamara.
