  1. The flavours are a bit off the wall, the quality is definitely not gourmet.
  2. I am not sure if you could call what I did singing 😂 . But it was fun, Deb is still laughing 😆.
  3. Nashna you should enjoy your first O cruise, it will be quite a revelation after your previous sailings
  4. Hello Katz Most of your questions have been answered, the house band is often playing in Horizons at night or possibly Karaoke for the adventurous. My best advice is to join the roll call for the cruise, or start one.The outdoor daytime activities are always weather dependent, putting, shuffleboard, etc. Enjoy and happy sailing.
  5. I certainly agree with the Flyer, if the young women are the least bit outgoing they should not have a problem fitting in.It wasn’t stated what ship they will be on, the larger ships have more to offer like the artist loft and culinary centre. The girls would be a great addition to any trivia team. The music at night in Horizons runs to a younger bent, or possibly Karaoke. Give it a try!
  6. The pic of those true shoestrings is mouthwatering. Maybe more of us should ask for them when on board, talk to FB manager, mention them in the comment cards, keep persevering.
  7. Thank you What A Market for your reporting from Riviera, the thoughtful commentary and envy inducing pictures are very much appreciated.
  8. Yes drinking alone in your cabin is sad 😞. Since I am ready for dinner before DW I often have a small whisky while waiting (always worth the wait). We do have a quiet glass of Port on the balcony before bed. It is still a nice perk that O lets you bring on alcohol to have in your cabin, do not want Pax to abuse the privilege.
  9. Draft beer can usually be had at Waves bar or in Horizons, often Heineken and an English dark eg. Newcastle Brown.
  10. What A Market, I am glad to see you are doing such in-depth scientific research 🥂, keep up the good work.
  11. Looks like a great start to your cruise 🥳🥂
  12. Thanks for posting, please keep the pictures coming. We are on Riviera in a month, would love to see the new decor from a passenger perspective not corporate views. Enjoy your cruise.
  13. Lingonberries are a Swedish favourite more likely to be found on Viking or at IKEA.
  14. Thank you Robjame , the food looks amazing, we are back on Riviera on March 12th. So looking forward to it, will say hello to Yuvelyn, and mention your name so be sure to get a good table LOL 😂
  15. It would be a shame if people started to abuse O’s policy of bringing alcohol on board for consumption in their cabins. The glass ware in the cabins is quite different from the bars/lounges so it is very easy to tell the difference. Bringing drinks from your cabin to a dining venue has never been allowed, I can not see it starting now. Taking a paid for drink to dinner is not uncommon, or even a cocktail from the Oceania Club gathering.Bring on what you need but keep it in your cabin or pay the corkage.
  16. We have noticed that in the GDR when the sommelier pours the wine they will pour up level to the top of the adjacent water glass. Using this as a guide when free pouring, the amount of wine should be approximately the same each time. Not sure how much it is in oz or mls.
  17. Hello Mark we are also on Pink Sand Soirée ( aka Bermuda Triangle). Looking forward to seeing you two at the M&G in Horizons. Defending Canadian values is part of the fun.🇨🇦
  18. Oceanpark All nonalcoholic are included in the price.
  19. Oceanpark Yes there was clamato on the Riviera in November, so you can get a bloody Ceasar. Chai tea possibly at Baristas.
  20. Ocean park, we are of different minds about a repositioning, when we ‘discuss’ a cruise it comes down to value vs boredom. For me 4 straight sea days is about my limit, my better half enjoys the sea days and what the ship has to offer. Once you get to the Azores it should be a great time especially if you haven’t been to those ports before. Enjoy
  21. Hi bbtondo thanks for the updates, we will be getting on at Civitavechia on the 28th. Are you staying on until Valleta or Istanbul? Might see you then. Jack
  22. Pinot I could not agree more with dressy jeans being an oxymoron! Too many keep trying to lower the bar.
  23. Dress code again, really? Do people not read previous posts. The dress code is O’s to enforce or not at their discretion. Everybody has opinions but they are just that opinions, personally I don’t think there should be any jeans in the evening. Dressy Jeans are an oxymoron!
