  1. I would call and have the TBA removed. I had to do this before because the system wouldn't let me print out my boarding pass until both parties checked in. They removed TBA no charge, and refunded taxes & port fees for TBA. They advised me that if an actual name was populated a charge would likely apply.
  2. I can't speak for Celebrity but on Carnival there was that restriction during COVID but recently there is an option on the HUB app that you can request to be seated with others.
  3. Yes, in my experience you can on blackjack and slots and likely other games.
  4. I'm in agreement with Honolulu Blue but I would also suggest just calling or going to the excursion desk to make sure.
  5. Correct, check in determines your arrival time. If you are Platinum you can check in 16 days prior to departure.
  6. I usually use Uber or Lyft but keep hearing good things with SAS. I went online to use them for trip from FLL to Miami hotel and found out that they do not accept reservations for flights arriving after 3:00 pm.
  7. That pretty much sums it up. I don't know exactly when they started it but certainly it's been that way for me in all of 2022. You can show up later than your check in time but if you arrive early they will direct you to an "early arrival" line to wait until your selected time. I suppose if the lines aren't long, there aren't many in your group and they are in a good mood they might wave you through.
  8. Thanks for taking time out of your vacation to share your experience on the Celebration in such a fun and interesting way. I'm planning on sailing the Celebration and your tour is very helpful. Safe travels home.
  9. I'm certainly going to find out. Being near Baltimore I've sailed the Spirit class ships several times and like the layout & capacity. I've enjoyed the Panorama & Horizon as well (both at partial & full capacity) and they didn't feel crowded and had more amenities. Although Celebration looks (and is) huge the only way to find out is to try it which is exactly what I'm going to do. As someone else stated it's a larger ship with more people so the concentration of people shouldn't be too bad for the most part.
  10. Please note that some offers specify that the person whose VIFP it's booked under must be present in order to take advantage of the discounted rate. If not, you would need to pay the going rate and I would assume that would need to happen on the spot.
  11. I'm coming on on 5 days before sailing to Bermuda and hadn't heard anything. I called the toll free number and they said that although I previously submitted my proof of vaccination with my application at approx. the 25 day mark they either didn't receive it or there was a problem with it They re-send the link which I promptly re-submitted. I immediately called back and they emailed approval while still on the phone. I just wish they would have proactively notified me that there was a problem instead of me having to call them.
  12. Does this perk include the same day/express valet service or just the regular next day valet service?
  13. Thanks for this information. I'm using OnPoint for the first time this week using the same test kit and it's good to hear it went smoothly.
  14. I also had the 2 bath OV on deck 1 on the Panorama (I believe it's called an OV Deluxe). In any case I didn't realize it until I got to my cabin. I was sailing solo so never used it but definitely a nice feature for multiple people.
  15. I think you'll be fine introducing your family to Carnival cruising on the Panorama. I've been on both the Miracle (10 days to Alaska) and Panorama (7 days to Mexican Riviera) this year and had a great time on both. They are different ships due to age, amenities, layout and overall ship design/decor with the Panorama providing a more upscale experience and neither was a short booze cruise. Keep in mind that for whatever reasons people on the same cruise can sometimes have vastly different experiences. I hope you are able to enjoy what sounds like a great family cruise.
  16. Once a day is fine with me.
  17. I'm also in Maryland and did the same thing for a May cruise. I previously used CVS for previous cruises but this time I did rapid test with Minute Clinic inside of CVS and was told I could be charged since it was for travel. I guess it depends upon your insurance but I was never billed. Minute Clinic provided results before leaving whereas CVS took a couple of hours via email.
  18. It will be refunded to original payment form.
  19. I concur that it's best not to say anything in advance. I just did this with a casino offer last week. When I arrived to the port they inquired about the 2nd person and I said they could not make it. They just processed me in and I was on the ship. I know that taxes, fees and prepaid gratuities are automatically refunded. Although my offer provided $200 OBC per cabin to be split between guests I noticed my account summary on the HUB only showed my $100 portion. I went to guest services and they arranged to have the other guest's OBC applied to my S&S. I don't know if this would have been done automatically but I wanted to get it sorted out earlier rather than later so I'd have access to the funds for the entire cruise.
  20. Saint Greg, I appreciate you taking the time to chronicle your Alaskan cruise including some great pictures. It's given me a lot of insight into the weather, what clothes to pack and things to see for my upcoming cruise on 5/31.
  21. Fully vaccinated guests traveling on a cruise that calls on Canada will need to take their pre-cruise test no earlier than two days prior to sailing.
