Can you share how much the spa pass was for the week? And do they sell them daily as well? Hubby and I will be on the ship in 4 weeks and he wants a pass for a few days.

True, anyone in management or entertainment are able to hang out in the passenger area vs. lower than that have their specific crew areas. But the crew can absolutely hang out with a passenger off the ship while at port. Carnival wouldn’t have a clue.

We used Jackie with Coral Transportation in May in St. Maarten. She gave us a full customized island tour! We had lunch on the French side, got to hang out on a gorgeous beach and then she got us to Maho just in time for the big jets. She was absolutely lovely and I highly recommend!!

If the 3rd wants to purchase the drink package, wait until onboard and you can purchase for just 1! If you try to do it before, you’ll be charged for all 3 of you.

Husband is a big gambler and always gets Elite, but never an ECHO. We unintentionally were on an ECHO cruise earlier this year and it’s probably the least amount of time we’ve ever spent in the casino! We were on the Celebration which has a huge casino, and I’m not exaggerating when I say there was not a single slot open 90% of the time. We realized the only time to be able to actually play a machine of your liking was if you went around 6am. Another note, the players on slots were not big betters, they just spent their entire cruise in the casino. Husband likes to play $25 a spin and prefers the high roller Dragon Links and couldn’t ever find a machine because the same people stayed on the entire cruise betting $5. We also saw a fight, mostly yelling and shoving, breakout because someone walked away from the machine and was gone for 30 minutes so someone else pulled his card out and took his spot. His wife called security claiming that the man stole the seat and her husband had only been away for 5 mins to use the restroom.

I had a Spa cabin in December on the Celebration and never received any offers or discounts and paid what I usually do for the spa. Also, the only products were the shampoo and body wash. I didn’t get a gift of any type. The thermal suite was a nice perk though!

Damn! I get offers in 2 days and was really hoping for some in the fall of 2023. I don’t know how people plan their vacations so far out!

I don't think she realized it when she booked. The entire cruise fee was only $400 for a balcony and I was able to talk to carnival today and they just removed it and she will get the $200 as on board credit. All works out because she will spend more than that in the casino. Lol

It was a casino offer that she had, so she paid the taxes and fees for double occupancy, but I wasn’t sure if it would matter if I never checked the “tba guest” in.

My mother in law booked her cruise and put 2 people, herself and then a TBA, but will be going alone. It’s time for her to check in since our cruise is coming up and it still is asking for her to add her guest info. Is there a way to remove this online or do we just ignore it?

I can second this! We always eat at the steakhouse and I’m vegetarian. Usually I will stop by on one of the first days and tell the hostess and they make a note. Then the chef will usually come by the table and ask me a few questions about if I eat cheese or not, red sauce or white, etc. Every time it’s been a different pasta dish but always amazing!

We always book a cove! We usually get Free Suites or a Free Balcony through the casino and there have been plenty of times that we picked the cove over certain suites or “premium” balconies. We love them for the same reasons as you listed, but I also love the privacy!

I’ve also seen videos of people cleaning their underwear in them along with a lot of other nasty things. I’ll never use a hotel in room coffee maker again. 🤮

Hi! Will be going to Amber Cover in May and I’m looking to book a beach day for 3 adults. 1 of us loves the ocean, one loves the beach and tanning, and the other shade and food/drinks. We’ve been to Mr. Sanchos in Cozumel and loved it, but also have been to some smaller private places that are quiet and we love those too. Any that you recommend? Can be private or through Carnival.

Just ate there last week and our table had a shellfish/ seafood allergy. She skipped all of the appetizers with that. And then they prepared everything except the seafood, made sure she was good to go, and then cooked the seafood last. Truthfully was the best meal I’ve ever had on a cruise!

With Cheers they don’t care. My husband is a diabetic so we usually grab an unopened can before we head back to the room at the Coffee or Pizza place.

We love going to Cucina! It’s usually pretty empty, and a nice place to enjoy a calm lunch before the rooms have opened.

Yes! But only if the same “type” of offer. Example, my husband had a “Hot Streak Offer” that was Free drinks everywhere for him, plus $1000 fun play and I had a “Hot Streak Offer” that was Free casino drinks and $1000 in fun play. I called and they added mine and we each had our free play and he had drinks everywhere and I got them in the casino. I also had an offer that was a “Jackpot” offer with drinks everywhere and I couldn’t combine that.

Maybe with current gas prices they are trying to maximize and wait until the bus is filled. When people were bitching, they said “The times don’t matter that you buy.” I will stick to Uber from now on. Good luck!

Did they offer Priority Boarding for the Ultra? My husband and I have been on Ultra and Premier and I thought we got to go after D and P Guests but can’t remember! We are on a Premier over Xmas and were wondering if we should just pick a later arrival time and avoid the surge. My husband hates waiting in long embarkation lines and we usually get Free Suites, but I didn’t like the Suite options on Celebration so we went with a Spa Balacony instead.

This happened with us on the Vista in July. Bought the 9am transfer ticket, on the bus around 8:45 and didn’t leave for another hour. People were fuming and a lot of talk about missing flights because of it. A couple of people hopped off and grabbed an Uber to avoid missing their flights.

Has anyone eaten at Rudi’s with a vegetarian? The steakhouse has always been able to easily accommodate me when we go. I usually notify the hostess ahead of time and they will make me a pasta of some type. On a few occasions the chef has come by and asked for more specifics of my preferences. It’s literally always the best meal of the cruise! Hubby and I will be on the Celebration over Xmas and we’re thinking of booking Rudi’s because he loves seafood.
