Let me restate: its exactly as it has been since pre-pandemic. I think they just went to the general ticket line not the elite waiting area. Only 'certain people' (ones with appropriate tickets & ones escorted by crew) were permitted access to Deck 4 where the tenders were waiting once the tenders were waiting. My elite group had space for 14 and 12 were ready. We all got on the next shuttle (and per spreadsheet I'm on the same ship .... Emerald Princess tender in Maui)

I realize this thread was from last year, but soon I'll sail Princess for the first time and am making plans about how much cash to take with me. On other lines I've transferred money from my cabin account to a machine, played a bit and cashed out. In your opinion if I do this one time for everything I need, do you think I'll run into any complications? Thank you I transfer funds to the slots, play some, cash out some, play more & more, take final amount out the 2nd to last day on every cruise. Seems to work right now / 2023 if the interim withdrawal is less than 1/2. Once it's all out I'm blocked. Anyhow that's how it is today ... tomorrow might vary.

Although I cannot jump the line by myself (and I haven't been able to for a few years) I was able to go to Michaelangelo MDR when I wanted to go into Maui yesterday and was put on the next water taxi. @Princess Chatterer I'm surprised that your experience was different. We're both on the same ship aren't we? I'm on the Emerald Princess

@chamima the red × is what I ordered. Having the smoothie tonight .... still puzzled as to how it can be vegan but supposed to be. Maybe it'll just be the cold soup @TravelingBeyondBoundaries this is the 2nd ship I've found them on and also only the 2nd ship since I asked for them

And definitely not O.N.E. onboard!! My transatlantic cruise dropped. IMHO a lot. So I asked onboard to refare. 3 times she stated that she needed to ask someone: 1. What's a refare? 2. Can you even refare if you're booked? 3. Can a booking be for solo occupant? So she went to research and asked me to return after the Meet and Greet. When I did she told me: 1. Now she knows what a refare is but I'd lose my room and only be able to waitlist as I'm a solo 2. Solos cannot book this voyage Then she tried to sell me a package (ezair, 1 night hotel, cruise) for $3300!!! Mind you I was all into this (ezair, hotel, cruise) for $3000!! So I should pay an additional $300 and might not even go as I'm a solo? How stupid did she think I was?!?! Shot a complaint email off to my CVP who refared me capturing the 600 price drop and reassured me that solos can still go on Princess cruises

@lion1956 i live here but haven't been to Sausalito in decades! As to Ensenada -- I don't get off there. Nothing to see JMHO Ok. I've been dying to ask: I'm looking at the MedallionClass app and I can't find where or if Alfredos (aka Gigis) is on the Emerald Princess. If not there, where can I get a good slice? And I avoid spicy food and NEVER eat pepper. I do let them know so its usually off menu. But I missed the vegan onion soup .... Royal Princess did not have the vegan menu Hoping for a vegan menu on the Emerald Princess (b2b starting in 2 days for a total of 21 days)

Going on a 5 day to Cabo then a 16 day to Hawaii. I stuck a few dz surgical masks in the suitcase & 2 covid tests. Will self quarantine if positive but do not anticipate going to medical. Well if I pass out I would call them after I came to. I had the flu once (anyway think it was the flu .... it was about 30 yrs ago) and that was rocky. But not bad enough to get the flu shot or pneumonia shot but had to get 3 covid shots to cruise. So I doubt I'd get a 104° fever but who knows?? Others with no co-morbidities have gotten sick

Solo cruiser & got a rather generous move over offer. 2 yrs to take free replacement cruise / amt I paid for this one as refundable OBC on that cruise / $300 travel credit goes on & on Talked to 2 friends (also solo cruisers) and we're all turning it down. Thing is by the time I've: 1. Arranged time 2. Gotten pet sitter -- also packed for Koda to go there 3. & house sitter (2 different sitters) 3. Booked transportation to airport 4. Packed It's just not that enticing. I would take if it was from SF instead of LA during the summer .... but yeah, not this time. Looking forward to my Caribe balcony
