  3. No. On Dec 8-18 voyage I was charged for each pot of tea as tea was no longer in the T&C Zre: Coffee pkg. However I used this pic to get it refunded each time. This discrepancy needs to be resolved at corp level
  4. Thanks. I'm trying to figure out where to stay for a few days before boarding the ship. I view going to Rome like going to Paris or London .... just where the plane lands then find a quaint place to hang out for a few days. Been to all 3. Not repeating them
  5. The final payment notice looks like it's changed. The dates & penalty for failure to pay are bolded and bright green. Impossible to miss. And I've got it entered to pay in full on final payment date
  6. I've been to Rome several times (once had a walking tour, another time a private guide, another time just stayed there). So I'm thinking of just staying closer to the port. However the last time I was in Civitavecchia was in 2004 and it was a dump. I've read its much better now but cannot find recent pics. Do you have any to share?

  8. @PacnGoNow I have a land based trip this summer and then a transatlantic in the fall .... this may be my longest stretch at home Thanks for the link. Think I'll do it 1/11/23 (has to expire within a year). Fortunately website says I can switch and pay the expedite fee if I want.
  9. My passport expires 1/10/2024 so I want to renew. During the height of the pandemic the website stated it would take 6-9 weeks. How long does it currently take? I'm hoping to have it in time to change ##s on my 4/16/23 cruise (really don't want to use certified birth cert but only non-USA port is Ensenada). Adding: it took someone I know 5 months in late 2022

  11. My favorite feature!! I'm not onboard (hopefully someone who is will add a screenshot). I order food, beverages, merchandise, amenities (hangers, pick up trays, masks, etc). Food menu is extensive enough (appetizers, sandwiches, snacks, pizza, desserts think some items from specialty restaurants but haven't ordered those). The beverages I order are the same as IC but also have cocktails, wine, and beer. Love the loaded fries & Key Lime. Others say its not 'real' key lime pie but that dessert is heavenly!
  12. As multiple other posters have stated, the actual form is unnecessary. What Princess needs is: > current stock account statement. Just the portion showing CCL or CUK shares. Block out account #, circle date & shares > booking info. I just take a screenshot of my cruise personalizer showing ship / date / booking # Fits on 1 page. Always works for me
  13. My CVP enters my Visa card # to cover final payment on final payment date. However, she needs to get my # each time & asks for permission (even though I originated the call to her to request it). She has no way to hold my number anywhere
  14. They sound like they have at least a 5th grade education so I'm dumbfounded as to why they couldn't read their travel summary. And the reporter is clueless. Whereas it is regrettable that the passengers failed to bring appropriate documentation, they were planning on going to non-USA locations. Unfortunately no refund or lodging assistance due

  17. Yes there is a charge at Gelato. Problem (for Princess) is that I can get the flavors in MDR with only a few toppings. I don't like toppings because its sweet enough already so I eat my ice cream, sorbet, and gelato plain
  18. I agree that Seabourn commands higher fares but historically HAL & Princess have been the same. Still expect Costa Cruise line to be decimated .... especially with whats happening with China opening and how Costa was supposed to fit that demography. Any thoughts on Costa sending ships to Carnival, Carnival sending ships to POAU, POAU losing Explorer? Especially in light of what happened with Ambassador Ambience (was POAU Pacific Dawn)?
  19. @CarnivalShips480 I hated to point out Volendam and Zaandam but they do have the lowest passenger capacity. Also Carnival Sunshine & Grand Princess have recently gone through an updating, as @Cruisemeister2002 and @molecrochip pointed out Unfortunately having scheduled voyages means nothing (says someone who's had 1 cruise shifted to other ships / itinerary changed 3× and now pushed out to 2024)

  21. Ombud, don't get what's funny Ironic that they cannot properly code purchases when someone has the card but I like that someone wasn't charged. (Charged 2× for frozen mochas which accounting removed as it was an error. Different than charged 8× for tea which guest services removed)
  22. Please excuse me if I'm hijacking the thread but it relates to transfers. I discovered on my last voyage that I can buy transfers a few days before disembarking with OBC. Great use for that extra OBC
  23. This is really irritating to me. I have a pot of tea each afternoon. I can get it in my stateroom IF I request elite tea, which was fine on my Caribe balcony last cruise (ended 12/18/22). But I only want tea + 2 scones or cookies. Really wasteful as I refuse all but that. Yeah, comes with 6 trays. On my next cruise I'm just up & down cold CA coast so I'd prefer getting tea & cookies (no scones at IC) while listening in piazza. I'm not a hermit
  24. All coffee choices but tea & cocoa have changed. Tea (despite listed on sales pg) omitted and cocoa only in bars & select restaurants. I had my daily tea refunded by Director of Guest Services who stated she was bringing it to corps attn
