  4. Looking at cabins 8004 & 8502 or 7008 & 7506, all of which are about as far forward as you can get. I have noted that the deck 8 cabins appear to be directly below the bridge. Does this present any type of issue? Opinions on these locations? Issues? 2 adults + 7 year old and 2 adults + 16 year old.

  7. This really doesn't sound like a "real" CVP. Sounds more like someone promoting their new(?) Future Cruise Deal (probably the wrong name). There were several threads a couple months back talking about this sales tactic. The gist was that this was a firm called "Princess Promotions" that had been "authorized" to contact potential future cruisers and try to sell them a package that sounded too good to be true. What made them appear to be "real" Princess reps was the fact that they had all of your info and cruise history!

  11. I had the same problem about a month ago when I had 2 sailings on the books. I was never able to make dining reservations for the 1st because the app (and the web version) would only show the 2nd, farther out cruise. Even though I could select the proper cruise via the normal process, once I got to the DMW section (even though I was "in" the nearest cruise) would start showing me the schedule for 2nd cruise. I had to have our linked traveling companions make the selections. I have had multiple sailings booked in the past with no issues.
  12. Yes, correct. I was speaking of the actual cabins...not their location...but that is definitely a factor in the decision.
  13. No, you have to check the box below the body text area. At least this is the case on a desktop PC as well as on my android phone...both using Chrome.
  14. If you have already booked this cruise, simply log onto Princess.com and go to your cruise personalizer. Click on the "Travel" tab and scroll down BELOW the flight information section. There you should see drop-down selections for any available transfers. NOTE: The above assumes that you have booked the cruise DIRECTLY with Princess and NOT through a TA. If you *did* book through a TA you will have to go through your TA for this info.
  15. Has anybody actually *reported* the issue? Given the state of the Princess IT systems...they might not even know!
  16. This does NOT read like it is being touted (or announced) as "the new method". This appears to simply be another option, hence the reason there's been no "official announcement" as a change in policy/procedure.

  18. You should be able to see your pricing and purchase directly in the app. Sorry I can't answer your question directly...we always book Plus or above.
  19. I travel with a group of people who use iPhones exclusively...they have always been able to message between themselves while on board. I, on the other hand, just recently switched to Google Messages on my android. Until then, I was never able to participate in their communications.
  20. Since the "in-app" events listings have been completely revamped (looking very similar to what is/was available in the method referred to above) I have found no need to resort to using that older method. The new listing are much easier to use.

  22. There is no physical difference between your booking and a standard mini-suite. They differ only in that your booking adds the Reserve Class dining option. These cabins do not have any of the "expanded" Perks of a full suite. We have stayed in Reserve Class twice now, I think you will have a great cruise.
  23. Hmmm...strange juju going on with my Galaxy S22! I *know* that I have either the latest or next to latest version installed...but via the "Apps" section under Settings it says version 3.0.10872! WHAT? OK...I'll go straight to the source (Google Play Store) and get this straightened out...Wait! Play store does not list a version at all for the Medallion App! (Unless I'm just blind and cannot see it!) I thought they *always* listed what version it was...??? End result...I have no idea what version I've got!
