I forgot to mention that I use Android...so WhatsApp crosses over platforms very well.

I use it all the time with my son. He is primarily an iPhone user. He is the one that put me on to WhatsApp to start with. We've used it while we were both on ship and while he was land-side. Works great.

Almost ALL sailings seem to be going up...rapidly!

1) All DRs have the same menu...perhaps differences in decor. 2) In order to get the same table every night you will have to speak to the hostess or head waiter once on the ship. You cannot do that via the app. 3) As stated above...no 4) Shows are *usually* either 7:30 and 9:30...some may be 7:00 and 9:00. It varies by ship. There will be *some* type of theter activity each night...not necessarily a "show" as in production show.

We always book mini-suite after experiencing the small showers in another category...but I cannot speak to the aft balcony in question. Have never been in an aft balcony. I had always heard that they were very desirable. ???

We have a cruise scheduled for next February leaving from Athens, Greece (Piraeus). Anybody have any recs for a hotel near theport...maybe even one that does an airport shuttle (or a separate rec for airport to hotel transfer)?

OK...I've gotten a lot of good ideas as far as transfers between the airport and (Athens) hotel...what about hotel to ship and ship to airport?

I was able to upgrade from Plus to Premier online just a couple of days ago, for a sailing in September, but not with OBC. I assume to do so you would have to be on the ship.

Starlink is definitely an improvement over the past several cruises we've been on. It's probably not going to be blazing fast but before the rollout I was having constant trouble just getting my email to load!

I believe the terminology is referring to being a member of the Rewards program...which is free.

We do this...but it does not work while at sea. This is called the "International Day Pass".

They will do their best to "fill" the day with various activities. Some will likely be a bit on the silly side...some very interesting. If you're a reader be prepared with 2 or 3 good books. We always like to play Bingo. I myself really look forward to sea days. I view it as "not having to spend money on excursions"!

As others have alluded...you have to "order" your medallion (and any accessories you may want) via the app or the "web version".
