  1. Well, she has it signed as Cruise Vacation Planner, so I will be referring to her as "CVP".
  2. Everybody has their own "trigger point" when it comes to insurance. I have GeoBlue Trekker and am seriously considering MedJet Assist to add serious medical evac options.
  3. This is news to me... Curious as to the source as @Steelers36 asks. I just got an email from the CVP that has been assigned to us for several years now. Her signature shows Princess.
  4. I believe that is their cutesy name for arts & crafts classes... I could be wrong.
  5. I have never seen a schedule covering all ships...there may very well be one. If there is a particular ship you're wondering about I would just Google "shipname drydock".
  6. It was this way on Discovery a few months ago...
  7. Hopefully...your cruise will have acceptable WiFi performance. Many people have posted that WiFi was abysmal on their particular cruise. If she absolutely MUST be connected...you might want to do some research! What ship/itinerary>
  8. Airline check-in for your flight home....?
  9. Ah...good to know. I wasn't thinking about commission amounts!
  10. I just bought a couple more gift cards this AM and passed them along to our TA for application to cruise fare. Afterwards, I was thinking about the whole money trail and where the money is flowing. While we've cruised a fair amount...this is the first time we've gone through a TA. How does a TA make any money when the client pays the cruise fare with gift cards? I hope they are not being short-changed, but I cannot see how they get any benefit in me being a client if I pay with GCs.
  11. Can't speak to the deposit question...but if a fare shows on the web page then it's "available". Is the second part of your question in regards to a possible "re-fare" scenario?
  12. It *may* just be a bit early for all excursions to be listed...though I am surprised that such a favorite would not already be showing.
  13. Keep in mind that you can use as many devices as you like with the "single device" plan...just not at the same time. When you try to connect the next device the system automatically detects this and logs off the previous device. Easy!
  14. PDF files *should* be able to use the "Print to Fit" option for your printer. You should be able to "force" it to print to one page. I just did. (I guess that might be dependent upon your particular printer, though...)
  15. You have obviously put a lot of thought into this! Very nice. However...I suspect that Princess is fully entrenched in the "Not Invented Here" syndrome. All of their newly hired "marketing marvels" will likely try to stonewall anything from "outside". (Purely my very cynical opinion! 😄) I hope I'm wrong...some of your suggested new perks would be quite interesting!
  16. Apologies...hopefully the picture I posted will suffice for anyone looking for this info. I have never seen any other type of plug on a Princess ship...but then I have not been on every ship! (Working on it!) 😄
  17. While CruiseMapper.com has been known to "get it wrong" in the past, it speaks of the simulator being on Deck 15. https://www.cruisemapper.com/deckplans/Coral-Princess-545/deck15-130 The Bar & Grill (complimentary fast food bar- burgers, hotdogs, chicken breasts, fries, bratwurst/drinks are extra; open 11 am - 9 pm) Movies Under the Stars (huge LED screen outdoor cinema with complimentary popcorn-cookies-milk in the evening) Princess Links (9-hole mini-golf course putting), Golf Simulator, Tennis Tables Platinum Studio (B&W photos/portraits studio sessions) The Sanctuary (aft-located, adults-only sundeck, upper level 2 of 2)
  18. You might also ask on a current roll call for the Coral...
  19. Incorrect status being shown is probably the biggest issue that everybody has with the app in regards to purchasing WiFi. We just avoid it altogether by always booking Plus.
  20. Well, I currently have GeoBlue Trekker...but medical evacuation (in my opinion) falls a bit short with Trekker. I think it's probably OK as far as the extra medical coverage...especially since Medicare does not apply when outside the US. This is something that each person just needs to weigh for themself, taking into account their own medical situation.
  21. Did you book this cruise via a TA? I have one cruise currently booked through a TA and that's what it says for that one. Two other cruises show as:
  22. MedJet website now says it is a 60K cash advance... I've been looking at this for some time now....may very well pull the trigger on it.
  23. Every ship that I have been on (so far) there has been a European-style outlet hidden behind the bed where the bedside lamp was plugged in. Perhaps the term "European" plug is not correct...but I think most of us understand what the OP means. I use the following adapter to use my CPAP:
  24. I do not know the answer to your question personally as we've never sailed from Galveston...but you should be able to look under the "Travel" section in your Cruise Personalizer and see. (Might not be visible if you are booked through a TA.) Scroll down below the flights section.
