  1. It is an area that is "unexplained". It could be anything... This is classic "fear of the unknown!" (And I'm not slamming anybody for not wanting to book a cabin like this...I wouldn't!)
  2. We've heard him on two different sailings now...he definitely has a "different" style of vocal delivery!
  3. LOL! I think you'll find that *most* people here on Cruise Critic would fall in the opposite camp! They want to get on the ship ASAP! 😉
  4. Most of those pics of the lounge itself appear very similar to a Delta Skyclub. The food, however...looks a couple of steps up from what Delta provides. Hope this is a good beginning of a great trip for you!
  5. We book minis all the time. DW always asks for a safety mat to use in the tub...it's possible it could get slick, especially if the wall mounted soap dispensers were to leak.
  6. That is pretty typical for most sailings (at least ones we have been on.) There will be a few oddball cruises that may leave later in the evening, but around 4:00PM-5:00PM sail away sounds about right. Welcome to Cruise Critic!
  7. We did a partial Panama Canal transit in Feb this year. As others have said...it is an older ship but it is being maintained very well (in my opinion.) Very interesting design with the Skywalkers Lounge perched way up above the aft. You can get some very good wake views while out of the wind and sun. We missed out on 2 shows because it appeared to be standing room only...and I refuse to do that! Food (which is always very subjective) was OK...definitely have had better on previous Princess sailings but not so much since the restart. We did not go hungry! I would sail her again with the right itinerary.
  8. It's really hard to beat the $7.08 price for the 12 pack of water! We have one waiting for us in our cabin every cruise.
  9. Actually, anything you intend to play is applied against your cruise account.
  10. I'm not holding my breath on the "old" WMD surviving. (Side note...that's a really bad acronym for a great dinner!)
  11. We did this exact itinerary in 2019 on the Crown. We count it as one of our top 5...and near the top of *that* list! I believe you will have an amazing time! Don't forget to kiss the Blarney Stone...and say "hey" to Nessie for us!
  12. From a "marketing" viewpoint...I would expect that the "old" WD would not continue. I really hope that's not the case...it would be another example of Princess not being able to "read the room"!
  13. I personally would not consider that list a "complete" list...those are just the ones that apparently "came to mind" for whoever was in charge of putting a menu together. Any bartender with any experience will know how to make MANY more drinks...or at least know where to look them up (as long as they have the ingredients!)
  14. Someone in another thread just posted that Starlink has been added to Discovery. Any sign of this on the Sky sisnce it just came out of drydock? (We board next week...crossing my fingers!)
  15. I'm hoping that since Sky just came out of drydock that maybe (hopefully) they added Starlink there as well. We are boarding Sky next week. Of course, Discovery may just be a trial...
  16. Same here. We are booked in The Catch for the next cruise. Booked about a week ago.
  17. You didn't scroll down far enough
  18. Yes, our one and *only* experience with a guy cabin was on the Pacific Princess just before the pandemic. We received an "accessible" cabin just a few days before sailing. I was very surprised...apparently it was not needed by anyone needing accessibility.
  19. Contrary to the logic of "it should be better in the Internet Cafe"...it is NOT! Those computers are served via the same wireless service as all passenger devices. This comes straight from a direct question to the staff.
  20. This site has what *looks* to be a recent menu of ALL drinks: https://profcruise.com/the-new-princess-beverage-packages-with-updated-bar-menus/ Scroll down for entire list.
