  1. And I would bet it is not getting many viewers on Paramount+ in any age group.
  2. Keep us up to date, and good luck getting a fair compensation. 🤞
  3. Right, I am always given a bottom line before we either book or put a hold on a cruise. Later, I may or may not see the NCF, but it really does not matter.
  4. That is not only a way to lose future bookings from a loyal customer, but also referrals from that customer.
  5. And it is a rather simple concept, so I do not understand how some are not understanding. I always get a bottom line from our TA. I think when we got an invoice it used to break things out like NCF. But, I guess he stopped doing that as the one on our cruise for next summer does not break it out.
  6. I spoke to my TA the other day. I asked about the Prima since I knew he was invited onto one of their sailings. He said he was unable to make it, but one of his staff had and said it was the most beautiful ship he had ever sailed on.
  7. A lot of good advice, but it really comes down to your last paragraph. You can only go when you can go.
  8. It comes down to the PVP works for the cruise line, not you. If the same thing had been done with a TA, the TA would have no trouble taking over the booking and answering questions.
  9. But for the price to go down, that means the demand for buying was LESS than the demand for selling.
  10. 🤣 How many people do you think are paying the fee for Paramount + because The New Love Boat is available there? At the start of the tv season, CBS heavily advertised 3 new shows, The New Love Boat, East New York (which I watch and is very good), and Fire Country. All 3 are on Paramount + but only 1 of the 3 has been cancelled on CBS, and is now only available on Paramount +. Why do you think that has happened?
  11. And the show was so not appealing that it did not take long for CBS to cancel it and just burn off the remaining episodes on paramount +. And that is after CBS really. really heavily pushed it in their commercials prior to the show's debut. Does not sound to me like they reached any audience.
  12. Is that a definite maybe, or a maybe maybe? 🤣
  13. Thank you, I found the relevant section in the FAQs.
  14. I have a feeling that they will NOT see you onboard soon.
  15. Wow, that is a lot of bad luck. 😢 Remind me never to sail on the same ship as you.
  16. Actually, it will work out for more than $150 per person if you take some of those perks. They add to your invoice tips for the specialty dining (even if you do not use it) and tips for the free drinks based on you used the maximum allowed by the package.
  17. And for that very reason, it is extremely short sighted for the PVP to act that way.
  18. Makes you wonder what they were thinking at Princess when they decided this show would be a good idea. 🤦‍♂️
  19. I spoke with our TA yesterday. One of his staff had sailed on the Prima, and said it was the most beautiful ship he had ever seen.
  20. Are you on the August 6th cruise? We are, and if you are, please join the small roll call.
  21. True, we are booked on another cruise line. When we booked the offer was 60% off the second passenger (which is actually 30% off both passengers). Their new offer is second passenger free (which is actually 50% off each passenger). I called our TA to see if our cruise had now gone down in price with this larger discounted offer. He calculated, and not only had it not gone down, our new fare would have been higher.
  22. He said sometimes, not always. In other words, it could happen. No one has done this yet I assume with this new tip, er service charge, policy as it has just went into effect.
