  1. Good luck with your procedure Lyle. Over here many GP's cut out the Melanoma's in their surgery rather than referring you to a plastic surgeon. I have had 3 taken out by my GP in the past 3 years. big chunks arms and chest. My GP does his cutting on a Monday, he calls it 'Melanoma Monday Monday, lol.' He would do a dozen or more victims on that day. So Lyle, remember on your next cruise, stay away from Melanoma Deck (the sunny one.)
  2. Welcome to CC. Yes, as has been said, roll call way to go.
  3. Cruisingmarmi..and when you walk up to town there is a nice bakery in the middle, you have to sample a genuine Aussie local meat pie, lol.
  4. I bet there is a line up then at Guest Services, removing gratuities.
  5. Eden is not far from me, 3 hours, been there many times. Small town, uphill from dock., about a 1 mile walk. No local buses from dock to town. Ships run the shuttles like you said. In town, couple of supermarkets, pharmacy, liquor store, pub, banks, etc. A Welcome Centre dockside (pictured)and a few market stalls selling handicrafts etc on cruise ship days. Meeters and greeters will be there, suggesting things to do. I doubt if there will be independent tour operators there, but there might be. Whale watch tours also go from that area. They are good. Is NCL offering shorex? Might be a good idea for you to see around the area.
  6. Pretty right there Julie, perhaps someone found the hull clean file in the too hard tray.
  7. Chili, I am concerned about your welfare on these RCI 🚢 I think you need a chaperone, lol.
  8. And the prize is a ticket on the Manly Ferry Lol.
  9. Fair comment Roscoe69. Environmental protection is vital now and for future generations.
  10. The prosciutto and melon is a very common starter in uk hotels and on the menu every evening on P&O ships.
  11. Watch out for the mobility scooters doing wheelies, burn outs and doughnuts in the disco, gets dark in there, lol. No disrepect to Mr Gut and others who need to drive those speed machines.
  12. I have been on this planet just on 3/4 of a century. I talk the talk and walk the walk like some other old timers. lol. Great to see you up and cuttin the rug.💃 Loving your pictures of the tucker.
  13. Get out there and 'cut the rug' in the disco, hang out with the bar flies in the various bars.
  14. Well the Chinese just gave PNG 13 million dollars to build a miliary hospital, so perhaps the Chinese might fund a wharf at Lelepa for the ships, but dual use... cruise ships and warships, lol. China seems to be doing a few golden handshakes around the South Pacific.
  15. Well I like my wines cool, not served in at 35C temp at a BBQ or even on a cruise ship deck. I never spend more than $10 a bottle at Dan's, but not been there for ages, been off the grog for 3 months, even at Christmas. Too many medications, bad mix.
  16. Geoff you will find on formal/gala nights on Cunard, jacket and tie is still required for the mdr and some lounges.
  17. Ask your cabin steward on day 1 to put a bucket of ice in cabin fridge daily,, then put your bottle in bucket. Call me peculiar but I put a couple of blocks of ice in my 🍷.and white wine.
  18. Crazy prices. Imagine being on the World Cruise and paying that? It would be $20,000.😬 Yes I know some on the WC were lucky in getting a drink package deal, $45 or $50 pp per diem, but still a lot of $$$$$ in my opinion.
  19. Re your cruise, May I ask what was the cut off in days for the MTP? We made it a couple of times with around 470 days.
  20. Hull cleaning must be happening in Auckland.. Milford Sound is a highlight of any NZ trip. Beautiful.
