  1. I didn't know it was possible to gain weight from food pics. Then I realized that after seeing your pics I always ended up heading for the kitchen...🤔
  2. This was the single most irritating thing that I experienced in a Sky suite this past January on the Equinox. Everything else was great...service, etc, etc. If I hadn't insisted at GS that I had signed up for premium breakfasts in my stateroom, afternoon snacks, etc, I wouldn't have gotten them. I was informed that these changes started with my cruise. They did not put up any resistance at all when I pointed these things out. (I had hard copy with me of the bookings and dates...) I did get the all the 'trimmings' I had thought I signed up for. But I'll admit I was unhappy that I had to make it happen. BTW, there was no hostile exchanges...it was kinda like they knew it was coming. Thank goodness...I certainly didn't want to start my cruise with some sort of nasty thing!!
  3. Well, *I* like it...lol! I must say, I have been reading this thread just as an interested observer...don't know that whatever the announcement is will really have any significant effect on what , if any, booking I do with X... ETA: No email received here either...
  4. I was so sad when we had to change our plans for a cruise we had booked on the Apex for next year (big family wedding...). Even had gotten Eden bookings... Fortunately I can fix that! I am enthralled with this ship!! Great pics...the ship is a work of art...
  5. One of Pernell Roberts many hits...lol...but you prolly mean the Kingston Trio...
  6. All I can say Norris, is that it was a happy day when I came upon your thread...wow, just wow!
  7. Very mature. Happy to join your iggy list...enough said.
  8. Bonaire Cruisers is who I was trying to book with. AFAIK they are the only ones that book carts on the island...
  9. Sadly, I experienced the same thing when I tried to book 4 months out...<sigh>...I kept trying for a couple of months thereafter but no luck...I wish you better luck!!
  10. Thank you for sharing your various sojourns on this amazing cruise! I am a first-time viewer of your posts and I must say it was time well spent. All the best!
  11. Oh,, sure...like you know something about Vancouver...sheesh....🤣🤣🤣 All jesting aside, love your city a lot!! To the OP: I've experienced both heading towards Vancouver and was toward the end of May. Cool and windy once, shorts and beach top the other. Strongly suggest packing for both!
  12. I'll admit a similar thought occurred to me...
  13. I find it a tad depressing that some folks need to judge a little light-hearted fun...but I'll get over it...lol... Maybe I should put up a different pic than my little travel gnome...(maybe a flamingo?? Oh, no, those are also verboten I guess...) My goodness...
  14. 'and this adjustments positions us in line with our competitors' Apparently they don't use Grammarly...or anything like it...lol.
  15. I did the ABCs earlier this year on the Equinox. Loved it. Nice ship and great service! What a wonderful way to celebrate your doctorates et al!! Relax and enjoy!!
  16. It's anyone that dines in the MDR. Suites are unaffected. Rest easy...
  17. Absolutely! I've always had a craving to dress up like Ronald McDonald!!
  18. After all the emails to Lisa, I imagine they've locked up that new CEO email in Fort Knox 🤣
  19. I can already hear the reply to this...lol... (We'll need verification from someone on a cruise 7 nights or longer, etc, etc....) ETA: BINGO!! I win...<nothing>...
  20. How do these 'Premium' MDR selections compare with what is offered in the 'Specialty' venues?? I'll be sitting out X cruises for some time I guess...seems obvious this is going to be fleet-wide...
  21. I'll agree that the closet light can certainly be annoying. It was making me a tad crazy on the Ruby in my balcony room. Too bright and stayed on forever! But I got over it...had no choice...lol... The lights under the bedside cabinets are great though...absolutely love 'em. They don't shine in my eyes, they are a softer light, they don't stay on overly long...I like everything about them. I immediately noticed they didn't have the closet light in our suite on the Regal (which would have been stupid as the closets are in the room...not separate). But they had the great bedside lights. It was a perfect setup...
