  1. another great post on why people should use a TA or PVP (which cost you nothing and you get their knowledge and expertise). Op, let us know how it all works out.
  2. VS are very special rooms on the Spirit class ships.
  3. I would be interested in your thoughts on the two ships.
  4. You maybe (and hopefully right) on to something. All of this gives me good pause waiting on other worldly opportunities to sail the 7 seas on a ship under the Carnival umbrella. I will do some digging into these two ships.
  5. I have only experienced that in the Faulklands and Turkey,
  6. If memory serves, street eats is only afternoons
  7. Here is a link which shows them, The 5th floor is the single room https://www.cruisedeckplans.com/ships/category-detail.php?c=2350
  8. Ummmm no, floor 4 def has the sitting room/bath and then bedroom.
  9. Not to mention the Emeril selection each night in the MDR, CMLA, when are you cruising?
  10. While it is for pay, Emeril’s is worth the visit as well.
  11. I have gone and gotten the fingers and added it to a salad from Lido. Yum
  12. As Greg says, there are many places to eat, almost too many. To answer your question Big Shaq is def worth the try
  13. While I cannot remember exactly, I believe only the 5th floor does not have a separate room, but if I am wrong I am sure one of my friends will correct me.
  14. I miss the “pld” days for a bunch of reasons, but that is a good one.
  15. Depending on the ship and what time you get there, the chances of getting in that garage are slim. with past sailings leaving and new coming in, it can be a crapshoot. We do this a fair amount and the majority of time we end up in the one across the street. My posts were to clarify the response as if they got in the one across the street, it would be a cold day in hades before the porter showed up.
  16. While it was not what I was referring to, Carnival has (for at least a long long time) been focusing on newer clients for the very reason you mention. What that does not mean is they abandon their loyal clients.
  17. Of course they would not want to do that. What I was referring to was refocusing the attainment of the loyalty levels. Without restating everything, when you have a plat diamong event and over half the ship shows up, something is askew.
  18. Totally agree. That said, and I think you and I are the same page, I sure hope they do not abandon these different, special voyages. For us, they are a difference make in our cruising world.
