  1. @KATHYMAC68My B2B is a month after yours. I, too, am worried about all of this! I'll do what I can with the ArriveCAN before embarking for Bermuda, and RCCL can let me use the internet to finish up. Earlier in the thread you stated, "I was told that I wouldn’t need another Covid test. Since I’m already on the ship they can use the one prior to first cruise." Is this still the case? That would ease my mind quite a bit. Who told you that? When I called today, they just told me to ask at Guest Services aboard. You must be in a tizzy trying to pack and get all of this together. Blessings and good wishes that is works out well for you. Please let us know in a few weeks how it went!
  2. I'm a file cabinet gal. Always have paper copies! Sometimes they are faster than e copies.
  3. @cruisestitch, Jerry and I are in a similar situation with Canada being the second cruise, with Bermuda first on B2B. 30 September is Bermuda, then 6 October Canada/NE. I posted in our roll call but no one has answered if they are doing the same. I was to Bermuda in May which was a major PITA with the TA, and at the time we had to upload negative test results and we never got the TA. It all had to be rectified on the ship for the pax - many angry peeps. Unbelievable stress really impacted the trip. So I know how to get the TA for Bermuda. I am just wondering how I can do the ArriveCAN that has to be done 3 days in advance as I will be on the ship. According to their website, one cannot start the info on a desktop and switch to an app later. Unfortunately, testing still in place for Bermuda and Canada - the two places we're going! I don't know if we have to test again for Canada on the ship, as some have said RCCL will accept the test I presented for Bermuda. They will test the B2B cruisers, as they did this spring. Stress that we will have to pass another test, for sure. Praying one country will at least drop it by then.
  4. Sorry for the confusion, so thank you for being so considerate and helpful. Actually my smart phone is a Tracfone with limited wifi, so maybe I can use my tablet or ask at Guest Services. Thanks for your efforts in helping your fellow cruisers!
  5. I realize that, but my query is that I will be on the ship to Bermuda, then Canada a second leg of B2B. They are considered two separate bookings. So I will have to do all this on the ship without a wifi plan?
  6. This spring they got overwhelmed with requests due to increased demand. The demand would be lesser now, and (hopefully) they are more efficient. Even at the height of the mess with the TA, a call or email helped.
  7. The timeline and one's circumstances can add layers of confusion. For example, Jerry and I are doing a B2B, but Bermuda is first and Canada is second. This is in October, so I didn't start or get any apps yet. Do most of my work on desktop, but I will not have that or internet on the ship. ArriveCAN site says, "You can use the ArriveCAN website or the ArriveCAN mobile app to submit your travel information. Once you create your account, you can use the same email and password for both the website and the app. However, you must use the same platform to start and finish a submission. For example, you can't start a submission on the app and finish it on the website." It seems to me that one cannot start it at home on a desktop and then finish up on an app when you are traveling. Can I just input our docs, etc.in advance? It is a real PITA to try to take photos and upload them with a Fire Tablet or Tracfone smart phone. Anyone else have experience with this?

  9. It will all work out. Read the hell others (like me) went through for sailings where you have to upload test results and wait fo the approval to board the ship. Mass confusion, hours delay boarding and unbelievable stress. The sailing immediately after ours, that rule was changed.
  10. Thanks ever so much for the time and help you have given to others. You are a prime example of how one person can make a positive impact into the quality of life for many.
  11. Oh, thanks so much for the info! We get in at 3 PM. Shame things aren't open later. This must be well known, but do you live there part of the year? You answers are so helpful; you could write a book!
  12. Try emailing them, as it has worked for others.
  13. We want to buy a day pass in October. Can one buy it the day before? Our ship gets in late afternoon and it would be great if we could get passes for the next day to save time in the morning.
  14. You don't need the itinerary. Personal docs like fax cards, passports, or whatever they tell you to do.
  15. On our cruise in May, in addition to applying, we had to upload negative test results two days before. If you didn't get a TA back in time, you could not board the ship. Total mess and stress. Many had to get it on the ship, government was overwhelmed. Now you don't have to upload the test.
  16. I (Joy) went through unbelievable stress getting our TAs this May. (CCL was clueless until a few weeks prior to the cruise. Our travel agent was not aware of this until I told her, and we took a group of mainly computer illiterate seniors on a bus to the port.) Starting the day after our sailing, uploading test results are no longer needed, as they will be checked at the embarkation port. We are sailing again to Bermuda on 30 September on RCCL from Baltimore. I have read that the Bermuda govt. saves some of your info for returning travelers, and I know the fee will be necessary again. Has anyone had any experience with this, and could share any tips for the process? Of course, I will start the app as early as allowable.
  17. Kathy, Jerry and I are in the same situation with Bermuda first on 30 September, then Canada/NE on 6 October with RCCL from Baltimore. What a mess! We did Bermuda in the spring when one had to upload test results and I was so stressed I couldn't sleep. RCCL told me any necessary testing would be done on the ship, but the first one may be accepted from the first cruise. So we will see when we get on. There is no way that they would make us get off the ship and find other testing! I am not paying for the internet plan, so they can just help me get the code if necessary from what I have filled out before the cruise. Major, unnecessary hassle!
  18. Nancy, I am so glad you realized in time! One has to be really careful. We were conversing in the Bermuda forum about the TA for the CCL trip in May on which we both were pax. What a nightmare - now this! Jerry and I are doing the Canada/NE as a second part of a B2B with Bermuda first, starting 30 September with RCCL. It seems like this aggravation is never ending.
  19. Thank you, Laura! Where does one get this in relation to the tender drop off?
  20. Am traveling on RCCL to Canada/NE as the second part of a B2B on the same ship in October. I CA complete the form prior to leaving for the first cruise, but how can I get it to them three days prior to the second cruise when I am on the ship without WiFi? Check with customer service on the ship?
  21. I will, thank you. I posted in roll call to see if others are in the same situation. Since there are other cruises to Canada this season, others must be. I don't mind filling out forms/printing, but the stress is the test. Since so many are dropping this, I am hoping Canada will, too.
  22. Thanks again! I am really bummed by this. The "good ole days" when one just packed and embarked are really missed. When we were on her in March, RCCL tested B2B cruises gratis. Several pax did this, we only were on for the week.
  23. Thanks ever so much for the prompt responses; sorry I was unclear. 30 September am boarding Enchantment in Baltimore for Bermuda (only port). Then ship heads back to Baltimore, where I will stay on the same ship and leave 6 October for Canada/NE.
  24. Just realized ArriveCAN would apply to us! I may have to start a new thread. After going through hell with the Bermuda govt in May, now this! Jerry and I are going to Bermuda again 30 September from Baltimore, then doing a B2B to Canada/NE on 6 October. How can I complete within 72 hrs. of sailing if I am on a ship w/o the internet prior to sailing? Will RCCL let me use the internet for this? What about the COVID test for Canada? (At least we won't have to upload test results to Bermuda again and wait for a TA that we ended up getting onboard - total nightmare.) I am on a iMac desktop at home. I do have an Amazon Fire Tablet that I put Google Play on. Even though I have no use for a smartphone and use a land line, I got a Samsung Tracfone and can put apps on it, like for the COVID testing.
  25. We were there on Anthem in 2019. Jerry and I took the free shuttle from Bar Harbor to Acadia park and hiked two trails on our own. (But we did not see Cadillac Mountain.) We are going to be there again 8 October..Many on the ship took the tour you are considering. At the time, it was a drive through the park with a brief photo stop at Cadillac Mountain. Basically, you are a "windshield tourist".
