Yesterday I saw a post on an MSC YC Facebook group, where someone actually said "you're allowed one guest per person in the YC." "This is so people with family members outside the YC can still be together."

We'll be on Seascape for the first time in September in 19003. I hope we have one!! I've been on a couple of non-MSC websites that say we do, but not sure how accurate they are.

Our minimum bid for Royal is $2460pp Owners is $5925pp I've successfully bid a couple of time with Royal Caribbean and thought they were reasonable amounts. My husband has loved the suites we've had in the past with Celebrity where we had a separate bedroom and was interested in possibly upgrading. Not for those prices though. There's no way we're not going to enjoy the Grand we already have booked.

When I read "torches and pitchforks" this is exactly the movie that I thought of.

Just received an email about bidding to upgrade to either a Royal or Owner's suite for the first week of our B2B on Seascape in September. We're currently booked in a Grand (the one with the walk-in closet) for both weeks. If I'm doing the math, this offer is a joke. If I were to book the RS today on the MSC website, it's about the same as the lowest upgrade bid. Will that be it for the offer, or if it doesn't sell, do they continue to lower the bidding price and send out another email?

Of course not. They paid for their "spot". It doesn't matter what they paid. If they got a great deal with an upgrade bid, good on them.

Morpheus has pointed out that they're entering thru an outside staircase that's open from deck 19 right up and into the One Pool area.

Thanks for that info. I'm not sure if we'll even want to have our pre-dinner drinks in the Neptune Lounge, but it seemed silly it wouldn't be included.

Sailing on Nieuw Statendam next April. First time with HAL. Do they still do twice daily cabin service? Also, is room service (other than continental breakfast) included? (We'll be in a Neptune Suite.)

My husband and I will be sailing for the first time with HAL next April on Nieuw Statendam. It's a 14 day transatlantic from FLL to Rotterdam. We'll be in a Neptune Suite and I just read yesterday that cocktails in the Neptune Lounge aren't even included, even if you have the high end drink package. (We do, it was part of the promotion we booked with.) This just seems so odd to me. We're so spoiled after sailing in YC.

Is the One Pool buffet open on days we're docked at Ocean Cay?

Not really a "secret," but at the end of both hallways on deck 16, closest to the lounge, there's a door leading into the lounge. Really convenient. Our room was a standard YC1 on Meraviglia. I guess some people might not like it being all the way at the end, but those hallways aren't very long anyway.

We were at the end right next to that secret door into the lounge. People often ask if there's any lounge noise heard in those rooms, and we never heard a peep. Would book again in a heartbeat.

I'm glad we're not seafood lovers. Do you recall which day in the YC dining room that the dinner menu is seafood heavy? Is it Day 4?

Just checked the past trips section on my TripIt app. We were in 16001 on Mera. Would definitely book that room again.
