  1. Not disdain they are boring to me and one among hundreds. The same for ship casinos. I may skip out of the show if I start dozing off. Why do I cruise this category? You are 100% correct. It is not for the shows or casinos. If it was for the shows the bigger ships have a bit better shows, but I like the smaller ships. I am just totally bored with them. I probably have seen 20 or so similiar B shows this last year and 10 or so Vegas headliners.
  2. LOL These are what our B shows look like ... The headliners are much much more extravagant.
  3. When you compare them to O in Las Vegas or any of the Cirque Du Soleil shows they do not come close. For starters their stages are way too small. Ho hum. Boring... They probably don't have anyone that comes close to Shin Lim either...
  4. Celebrity has waterslides ...
  5. Perhaps a good reason to avoid cabins behind the smoke stack in the back ...
  6. I don't think that it is how much more a gambler will spend. I think that it is how many more gamblers X will attract. If you look at the off strip casinos in Vegas they are super smoky. The off strip casinos are where the odds are better than the strip casinos and the gamblers hang out. Some residents come rather close to living in them. Sure they go home at night, but eat and gamble all day there. Who would have thought that one addiction would lead to multiple ... Anyways I think that they are trying to get more gamblers vs having a gambler spend more. And many smoke. I don't smoke and would prefer a smokeless casino. I also gamble very little.
  7. Just curious what is a high roller level on a cruise ship? Somone who gambles 10K, 100K, 1000K?
  8. My question would be: "Have you lost your minds"? 🙂
  9. I think that it depends upon age. If it is the younger generation they would be more diplomatic about it. The older generation would just straight up tell them that they were being inconsiderate #$%^!
  10. American IS the only airline where I am having this issue. Delta, Singapore Air, Southwest have only given me mild schedule changes. Yawn.
  11. Airlines are changing thousands of flight schedules: What you need to know - Good Morning America It looks like American IS #1 in flight changes ... Four for four... American Airlines has changed or cut roughly 60,000 flights between May 1 and Sept. 1, the most of all the major carriers, according to Airline Data Inc.
  12. How many consecutive scheduling muff ups would it take for you to find a different airline? It really does take a bit of extra time to choose a different flight every time that American changes the schedule for a trip.
  13. And yet there are people who think that Celebrity will properly police the vapers and smokers. LOL
  14. I am still trying to win the Wave lotto. Perhaps I will need to try my dates on the week days vs the weekends...
  15. I don't know how to politely say this, but comparing the current flight schedule to what was ACTUALLY FLOWN and scheduled over the holiday weekend is a silly exercise that has ZERO relevance. I did not originally give you the locations as I knew that you could not provide anything meaningful with them. You thought that you had your gotcha moment, but all that the current flights show is what was available before American changed the schedule and moved airplanes for the holiday weekend. I would have been very happy (and this thread would not exist) if they kept the current schedule in place over the holiday weekend. I would have made it to LAS 5.5 hours earlier. Not 4 hours but 5.5... I am someone that books 330 days out to get the best available flights and seats. Sigh. Regarding the LAS to LAX flights they previously had quite a few more flights available before the cancellations and revised schedule. This flight was also around the upcoming holidays. I could post my original flights and revised flights but that would just lead to a game of 100 more questions.
  16. You should not have to say anything. The Celebrity staff should have taken care of it...
  17. It happened LAS to MYR and LAS TO LAX. Two full round trips where all 4 depart/arrivals were heavily changed. The first one I flew. The second one I cancelled. I will give most airlines a chance, but ...
  18. I never said that the other airlines never had delays. Every heard of 3 strikes and you are out? Well American had 4 strikes in 2 full round trips. When they are always muffing schedules up ... It has been a rather uneventful flying season for me except for American scheduling, and rescheduling, and rescheduling, and rescheduling. I have flown other airlines this year and they were on time and without the crazy scheduling. I should ask you how many schedule muff ups would it take for you to switch airlines? Is not 4 out of 4 enough? BTW which airlines do you work for? American? 🙂
  19. It is not just one occasion but multiple occassions or 100%. Perhaps your expectations are very very low for air travel. I understand some of the difficulties during the pandemic, but I do not expect them to last forever...
  20. I have had many successful flights on other airlines. American is the only one that is rescheduling the reschedules with 4 hour schedule changes for me this year. But when I am consistently rescheduled for a flight by 4 hours with American why hang around? I know that there are potentials for other delays, but why bother booking with them when you know your booking will be changed by 4 hours? It is like driving in a race but you do not start at the start line you are starting 4 hours behind everyone else. With American I could get my flight rescheduled by 4 hours AND then a flight delay. Why tolerate delay after delay after delay? Again why set the bar so very very low for who gets your airline dollars? What airlines are you all flying with that changes your flight schedule by 4 hours for all of your trips this year? What airline continuously reschedules your flight to where you have to call 2 or 3 times to book a different flight? It is tiring...
  21. Agreed. For the last 6 months they have been throwing away their market niche. Now they are looking the same as other less expensive lines.
  22. I would guess very few as they have taken the signs down and the only mention is in the Cruise Planner. This does not seem like a very good test of anything. But I am sure Celebrity will spin it however they want to.
