  1. I was just wondering if it was easier to do background checks on the American and Canadian employees.
  2. what nationalities work in camp ocean. I thought it was mostly canadian and american. I haven't had any little ones for 3 decades so I don't really pay that much attention.
  3. When doing the paperwork before the cruise they ask you for your phone number and the number for an emergency contact.
  4. that would go over like a lead balloon. Those that like wifi would be elated and trhose that want to discconnect would not be happy that they have to subsidize the wifi package for others.
  5. how do these plans work on a ship? interested in this . I know they are installing 5g on some ships .
  6. I guess you could consider me elderly but I for one wasn't insulted.
  7. depending on who you rent the car from most places have shuttles to take you to the ship after you drop off the car.
  8. let me say this. If the need ever arises that we actually need to go to our muster stations they had better have those crew members in the hallways like in the beginning of the cruise because I'll never find it on my own. I get lost going around the block.
  9. if they ever did include it in the price wouldn't it be part of the commissionable money? If yes they'd be losing money which like you said it's never gonna happen for a multitude of reasons.
  10. thanks for all the replies and the clarifications. Appreciate the replies very much!
  11. no didn't go that far. Judging by that question I am going to assume that once i put her birthday in it will knock off that charge??
  12. thank you. I guess I would need to call up to book then? She doesn't drink soda. mostly water with some juices thrown in.
  13. I was pricing out a cabin for my son, daughter in-law, and my 4 year old grand daughter. On the bookinmg page it doesn't ask what the 3rd persons age is so they actually make a 4 year old get a drink package if the adults do? I see they charges the drink package gratuities for all 3 pax. Don't book NCL a lot so wanted some clarification. Maybe I didn't click something during the mock booking?
  14. Gotcha I didn't read down far enough. I thought they did away with this? see below in orange Except where it is a mandatory requirement, Carnival highly recommends that all guests travel with a passport. The passport must be valid for at least six months after the last day of the cruise. This will enhance the debarkation experience as delays may be expected upon return to the United States for those without one. Additionally, this will enable guests to fly from the United States to meet their ship at a foreign port should they miss their scheduled port of embarkation and allow guests who must disembark the ship before their cruise ends, due to an emergency, to fly back to the United States without significant delays and complications. U.S. Domestic Cruises For cruises that begin and end in the same U.S port, the following WHTI-compliant documents are acceptable for cruise travel. Please note that if the cruise visits Colombia or Greenland, a passport (valid for six months after the cruise ends) is required.
  15. in your browser type,"logoff.com" then have him type, "login.com" on hos browser in his device and use your login and password
  16. when Carnival says passports must be valid for 6 months from the end of the cruise, is that just a CYA statement as it's not really true for 90% of Carnivals sailings?
  17. when on the Fantasy in September on formal nights people wore just about anything. Shorts, tess, and flip flops, etc.
  18. I did once but won't pay for it again on the excel class. I opted for a balcony cabin on deck 14 for the Jubilee.
