  1. Far far far more people fly than cruise, by a very wide margin. Flying certainly, while irritating, does not induce nearly the angst and chatter and non-sense that CC does about cruising.
  2. Honestly you'd need to bring a large serving spoon and ladle because much of the buffet food requires more than just tongs. Also the silverware was touched by crew before you used it as well. Conversely, you can also wash your hands immediately after handling cruise provided silverware, serving items etc. Keep sanitizer with you at all times, there are so many touch points on the ship you could drive yourself crazy with all the precautions if you let it. We all do us though, I get it. For me Covid is here and I do take precautions but don't let it get the best of me. Cest la vie
  3. Correct and ALL of the shows/entertainers on my recent TA were IMO outstanding.
  4. Definitely worth a call to shoreside in advance of your cruise, guarantee they will gladly assist with this. Best of luck!
  5. All one has to say is sure I’ll take care of it. No harm no foul.
  6. i only ate there for lunch 2x. Butler made res' for me but they were not necessary as both times there were at most only 4 tables with guests. Food is great!
  7. Good for you, this is what I call great customer service!
  8. There was one report here that they endured "mayhem" and suffering" during the boarding process, hmmm 🤫 I'll be at Epcot tomorrow, you want to hear about mayhem and suffering!!
  9. I'll be on before you because my 1;30 check-in time sure appears to read 10:30 when I rpint it out. I'll grab a drink and meet you in one of those Hoppenized rockers in Eden.
  10. I'm assuming you are looking at ship excursions. I will say, on a recent cruise I did a ship excursion, small group of 10, a couple of the stops did have a LOT of stairs. One gentleman, maybe 80ish, had zero problems on the flat services, the stairs at the plazas and leading to churches at some of the sights were a whole other issue for him. That he said, he knew and just told the guide, where do you all exit from this part of the tour and I will meet up with you there. Never caused one single bit of inconvenience for anyone in our group, and I had never met them before the cruise, a few were chums but most were just signed up for a tour. Overall it was truly enjoyable for everyone.
  11. That's one of the suite perks, good on you for not worrying, enjoy that cruise!!!
  12. Why poorest reason ever? Because you have to fly and the can just drive! Blows me away how anyone on here sts in their livingroom actually worryng about what time another boards a cruise they are not even sailing on,
  13. From where I sit, I don't understand why you need to apologize to anyone here. You got to the port, you presented your credentials they allowed you to board, end of story. Get on board, grab an all included $85 + gratuity martini and go enjoy all that lovely Kelly Hoppen furniture.
  14. Exactly the same for me on Edge in Oct/Nov with premium, totally MEH, I did not really "need" it though, was just convenient. I think the cruise right after mine got the StarLink upgrade though.
  15. Enjoy your cruise, no matter the weather, a "bad" day on a cruise ship is better than a "great" day in December in Boston! Bon voyage!!
  16. Let's hope he does not run StarLink the same way he does Twitter or Tesla
  17. a very elitist attitude, reminds me of that old PBS show, Upstairs Downstairs
  18. I won't say anything about you bring them if you don't say anything if I bring this, it will be our secret
  19. As opposed to hard working people that live on the ship for 9 months?
