  1. and be sure to attach a copy of the T&C's
  2. Another reason to check out Oceania, in their buffet they exclusively serve B&M baked beans. Nothing screams "luxury" like pork and beans
  3. I hear you on that! I just booked what will be my first trip on Oceania. There is a bit of chatter on their board about some changes but it is NOTHING like on here.
  4. I’d go directly to one of the specialty restaurants because I got a feeling those poor souls in Guest Services are going to have their hands full.
  5. Good fuel usage information but the fuel costs are from 2019, can still use today $$ and get a rough idea and it ain't cheap
  6. back when I was a kid the gas tank gauge in my car didn't work, it was stuck on always a full tank...I hope the captain has a better sense of how much is left in the tank than I did
  7. Good grief Ipee, can just imagine the threads here if that happens!
  8. A large cruise ship of over 1,200 feet in length can hold up to 2 million gallons of fuel. With diesel prices of $4.959 at the time of the article, it costs approximately $10 million to fuel a cruise ship fully.
  9. well if you have to be in a coma, make it the good kind...
  10. Good on you! I was recently in the EV and it also included all of the specialty's, I made full use too.
  11. perhaps they were in an upper or THE upper suite?
  12. Still hovering there in MA as well. I think I read someplace that it can cost upwards of $10MILLION to fill er up, as it were. With diesel prices they way they are, it's no wonder everything is so damn expensive, especially when it has to be hauled all across the country by the truck drivers.
  13. but I don't think a restaurant has a T&C we signed and agreed to prior to making said reservation
  14. LOL I was just about to respond to your post above on how you convinced me to book that cruise and very happy I did. This also reminds me, a nice person on the rollcall is taking names to be added to the M&G list, I need to go and send her an email now to make sure we do that.
  15. Love this query! I’m the same as you moving from Celebrity to my first O cruise in May on the founders cruise, so excited. And dang already those Celebrity posts are over the top, to put it mildly.

It was included with my suite, but now having eaten there, I would definitely pay to do and it would be worth every $
  17. Maybe go on the cruise and form your own opinion?
  18. Maybe they are going through an identity crisis and they currently identify as Disney, where the motto is raise the price to whatever we want and they will still come

It didn't cost me anything and it was worth every cent I didn't pay
  20. Hmmmm, for shrimp and escargot not being on the menu in L, it was sure delish when I ate the there this past fall.
  21. If it wasn't about chocolates, towel animals, midnight buffets...why do people bring them up on a regular basis? I get it, (well I personally don't get it) but those things are important to some, which is fine, it's about a bigger view of what folks feel is being taken from them. Hopefully for those that feel this way, they can be heard and get back some of what they feel is now missing to them. If they don't, they will move on and Celebrity can then decide what is important to them. We, they, have choices and make choices, be interesting to see how it all shakes out. Happy sailing...
  22. considering jumping ship. Well if they do jump ship, I hope they are on the Beyond with Captain Kate at the helm, she's getting good at the at sea rescues.
