  1. Doesn't Princess offer $100 off balcony prices for returning cruisers?
  2. It could be as uncertain of the requirements as many others.
  3. Staying on the ship never exempts one from any visa requirement of any country. It's why, regardless of any prior cruise line advice, one may be denied boarding if a required visa is not obtained. A little while ago I read a blog that reported on a visa issue down under. The cruise line had advised passengers in writing that a visa was not required, then denied boarding. Granted those denied eventually got a refund, but it surely doesn't compensate for what happened. You are in a difficult situation. Hopefully we will see some first person reports posted here. But it might be prudent to assume the worst and see if visas can be obtained in time.
  4. The fleet has several different sizes of overhead bins. I suspect the the cage is for the smallest bin in the fleet.
  5. Any travel insurance plan I've seen specifically excludes acts of war, insurrection and terrorism. They also exclude coverage in government no go areas. Participation in criminal activity is also a reason to deny coverage. I suspect that close proximity to a riot / illegal protest activity might get swept into this exclusion.
  6. CPB help suggests a waiver may be needed, https://help.cbp.gov/s/article/Article-402?language=en_US#:~:text=A single Driving Under the,and Immigration Services (USCIS). https://help.cbp.gov/s/article/Article-1769?language=en_US seems to outline the process.
  7. Those flying FLL - YOW are fortunate, if they can get a seat, January 2024 departs 17:40. I just checked middle week of January, only non-stop flight FLL - YYZ all week departs 08:40.

  9. The question then is does this apply to Canadian passport holders? I'm under the impression that this thread has been discussing unique requirements imposed by Egypt on Canadian passport holders.
  10. Guilt and blackmail often work. 😃
  11. I have no idea about hair stylists, but these other professionals are routinely asked to discount or rebate fees.
  12. You need to sign out. On the sign-in form, at the top, below the CC logo, on the right is a sign up option.
  13. I got an online quote for travel within Canada medical insurance. https://manulife.safevisit.ca/travelling_canadians_view.php https://www.rbcinsurance.com/travel-insurance/travelling-within-canada.html
  14. This hit suggests cruise ships would need a special license to transport passengers between two Canadian ports.
  15. Is there any guidance on timing the new vaccine shot following a bivalent booster?
  16. All those pictures of a tailless ship 😭. It doesn't look right. But thanks for adding the Bermuda call.
  17. No, (https://www.eia.gov/energyexplained/gasoline/regional-price-differences.php#:~:text=California gasoline prices are generally,on gasoline is also higher), but the completely unfounded accusation is malicious.
  18. An internet search will produce numerous articles from main stream media sources that suggest most of this post is mischievous fantasy.
  19. It is possible to see the last post made by a user. Click / tap on their avatar (picture) then scroll down to Activity. The first entry will be the most recent post. It is possible to find users using the search bubble on wide displays, i.e. it doesn't work on narrow mobile displays. Tap / click on the search bubble, tap on the grey word (often Everywhere, but could be something else like This thread), and pick Members from the drop down list, enter as much of the username as you can, press enter. If an appropriate username is displayed, tap / click on Find activity.
  20. I have an older version of Word, so I thought a picture might help. Right click in a new Word doc to produce this popup. The center button under Pate Options is the paste merge. It produced a couple of pages, the first of which looked like
  21. Have you explored online options? Scopolamine is still legal in Canada by prescription.
  22. You should be able to get no lines with a Paste Merge Formatting in a New Word doc. All the color is lost, but the graphics and layout are preserved.
  23. An interesting problem. One can get close using paste merge formatting, but it seems to lose all the color. I did find that highlighting a section and using Chrome to print to a pdf file produced reasonable results, but it's finicky and I didn't have time to see if the entire post can be done in one operation to two pages.
