  1. If you are using CC you would have to include a non machine readable email address in a post. Something like "username Gmail com". To further protect your regular email create a temporary email address for just this purpose.
  2. Physics. Helmet it heavy. The air is lighter than water and can't escape so the water can't take its place.
  3. I believe you will have to clear US Border Protection. See https://www.admtl.com/en/guide/connecting-flights
  4. An acquaintance is sensitive to sunlight. Going out in bright sunlight without extreme protection is actually painful.
  5. Menu | Account | Ignored users (https://boards.cruisecritic.com/ignore/). You will still see posts that are quoted.
  6. You need to read the actual policies. Each should outline how it determines coverage when there are multiple policies covering the claim.
  7. I suggest you not post an actual email address. Instead write the address out in a human, not machine understandable format like "my name at somewhere com" for myname@somewhere.com.
  8. As long as it requires two hands to open it should be fine. Knives with blades under 6cm (~2.4 in.) Can be carried on flights within Canada and to non-US destinations, https://www.catsa-acsta.gc.ca/en/what-can-bring/sharp-objects. US TSA rules differ, https://www.tsa.gov/travel/security-screening/whatcanibring/items/knives#:~:text=Checked Bags%3A Yes,to baggage handlers and inspectors.
  9. Hasn't happened yet. In fact since extensive media coverage of the May 10, 2023 announcement nothing but crickets.
  10. A roll call is a thread. Make sure you are logged in and navigate to the thread to see the posts.
  11. Far too broad a statement. There are knives that are illegal in Canada with possession subject to criminal charge. Switch blade type knives are one example.
  12. No. Max passenger capacity is 7,300 in about 2,800 cabins.
  13. Was there always room in the elevator for a chair?
  14. To notify @Fouremco, you need to type the @ followed by the first few letters of the username. When the popup list appears tap / click on the desired user. This will produce a blue bubble as seen in this post and the user will be notified that someone mentioned them in a post.
  15. Not knowing the device, operating system, or browser used it's not possible to answer the question.
  16. On your MacBook go to the forum you want to search, click in the search bubble. It should default to searching that forum.
  17. @At7Seas may want to contact community@cruisecritic.com to inquire about the offending post. I recently had something similar happen to me in error. An email inquiry using my email address of record and including my username managed to clear the block. I have been enjoying this trip report and would very much like to see it continued.
  18. Search is both context and device sensitive. If you are on some mobile devices you will use the magnifying glass icon to access Search. On the Search form select Topics and then use the drop down to pick the particular forum to be searched.
  19. I suspect you would not be able to use any non-refundable OBC if that is the goal.
  20. In typically Canadian fashion, (so that no one is slighted), we use both 🙂.
  21. One of the Royal Caribbean mega ships in the Caribbean. Not only do they have lots of activities, but some itineraries visit Coco Cay, Royal Caribbean's amusement park. A pair of connecting balcony cabins should fit in the budget.
  22. In Chrome, menu Tap each of these settings and turn them off.
