Same here. As long as I can buy shore excursions, dinner reservations and check in I really do not care.
Appreciate the humor regarding WhatsApp. No better than the others.
And the bartender might or might not tell you your drink exceeded what your package covers.
Depending when you are cruising and the ship there might not be a fixed seating. That said, after you board seek out a restaurant manager and tell them what you would prefer. Dining at 8:30 each night should be easy.
Your vaccination card. Colombia requires vaccination as well.
You are responsible for following the laws. On a recent Princess cruise requirements were changed and posted about 2 weeks before our cruise. Princess denied disembarking to those without proof uploaded to your account.
Have brought both on board. They allow reasonable quantities. I taped 12 pks together and checked at the curb with my luggage.
Am a bit mystified about water as they have filling stations and the water on board is basically distilled water. Does taste flat to me as almost zero minerals and salts.
Suggest you look at the terms of the debt RCL issued. The bondholders would end up taking over the company and common shareholders would be wiped out. Maybe a look at who owns their debt issues too.
Strange thread. I thought the OP was asking about a lounge at the port while waiting to board. This varies by port from non-existent to a really nice area with some snacks and beverages. Doesn't open till they start checking you in around 10ish +/-.
Sort of a tote. Not like the ones that folded up we used to get. Like a reusable heavy paper tote you can buy in a dollar store. Slippers - yes. Usable and comfortable- nope.
So far the cutbacks have not decreased bookings. Pretty much everything has gone up in price. Our various preferred monthly rentals have gone up in price by several thousand dollars a month.
Seems pretty soon the old timers that post on CC will go away and younger cruisers who are new to cruising will take our place. They never experienced Modern Luxury.
If customers stopped booking cabins the prices would drop. All the complaining is pointless. Too many people wanting to have holidays with too much money.
Just back from a cruise on Princess. The ship was at about 95% capacity. They were very short staffed. For example cabin steward had 17 occupied mini suites - half with 3+ in a cabin. Specialty restaurants - 2 of 4 closed. Buffet had 1/2 closed after anout 7pm. No stations except pizza. 1 MDR closed.
Took 3 hours to eat in MDR unless one ordered everything on arrival. Beverage service in MDR is generic wines and asst waiter getting drinks from a bar.
Even when open the Buffet had only a couple entrees.
Thus for those that are unhappy - you have a choice to go elsewhere; other cruiselines or simply stop cruising. We will see in August how things look and then decide. In the meantime am not booking future cruises.
Rates are computer generated. All sorts of strange pricing appears occasionally. Havecseen Aqua cabins cheaper than OV. But only for about an hour!
Book it.
Since covid excursions populate much closer to sailing. Would think most would be there about 6-8 months before your cruise. Had additions and deletions on a December cruise until October.
