  1. Thanks for the heads up! Ironically, we just bought 16 CNs last week and they showed up in my account today. We sail steerage (inside) and I was hoping/expecting this offer to reappear soon. 😎
  2. Am I the only one who thinks it is silly to book a cruise just to move up one Latitudes level? I like the free laundry as much as the next guy, but dirty clothes don't really establish a robust business case. disclaimer: yes, I did accept the Sapphire pins last week so DW could add one to her collection. I promptly lost mine but eventually found it in the pocket of my shorts that I was prepping for FREE LAUNDRY! Come to think of it, I may have left it on the ship when we disembarked this morning. 🤣
  3. I've uploaded the same picture for our last five cruises to check in. They still took our photo in Miami two weeks ago. That's NCL for yah!
  4. That's okay. I suspected as much, which is why I asked the question. The Chief was only good at math in school and also had an epic math failure right here on our fine forum a month or so ago. I blamed the Scotch and weak reading skills, but I really can't back that up.🤡
  5. We’ll speak soon. I’m pretty “busy” this week. Still looking for @ggTexasGaland her fine husband. They may be (wisely) laying low. 😝
  6. I always book inside and pack ear plugs. I sleep like a baby every cruise. 😎
  7. Nah, I'm not doing that. I may post occasionally as the mood/Scotch moves me. The pack? Well, now that's a long story......🤣
  8. LOL. Yep. That said, most folks don't take me seriously and that seems to work out best for everybody. 🤣 Thanks for the kind wishes. I'm hunting 🐀 on this one......
  9. I used to assume that an Uber/Lyft driver in a Port area would know where I needed to go (I was wrong in January). We had to roll down a window and ask a port employee where the NCL Sky was.
  10. Yeah. I would agree with that. I really don't spend much time listening to the comedians unless there's a lull in good music. Last year a guy tried to Don Rickles me about home ownership and he got more than he bargained for (i.e. he made himself look stupid). Come to think of it, that DID really amuse me.🤣
  11. It didn't when we were there in January. Also, notable, they didn't when the person took that picture.
  12. Thanks. It looks like this would work as well: Port of MIAMI (US MIA) details - Departures, Expected Arrivals and Port Calls | AIS MarineTraffic
  13. Will there be signs that say "Norwegian Pearl this way>>?"
  14. Yes. The signage for finding a specific terminal was excellent. That doesn't help if you don't know what terminal your ship is at.
  15. It's always a great surprise when that happens. We were on the Encore in last Spring and encountered Guns and Rojas, who had been on the Epic with us in 2019. Great band!!
  16. It changes all the time. When we were on the Joy last October, we had a fantastic piano/guitar/vocalist in the Brewhouse named Ryan North. I doubt he is still on the Joy.
  17. This one? Port Miami Webcam - Cruise Ship and Scenic Web Cam in Miami Florida I can't see how that would be any help. Or, is there another? Why would anybody want to "guess?" This was a serious request for useful information. Fortunately, @shof515was very helpful. Thanks again shof.
  18. The experience in the theater will likely be MUCH better for those who wound up standing in the back after waiting in a long line (or not even making it into the show).
  19. Yeah, that's fantastic advice. I'll just tell my Uber/Lyft driver to cruise around the port until I spot my ship. I'm sure we'll find it after two or three laps. Did I mention that my last Uber driver in Miami didn't speak English? Once we finally found out it was "B," he seemed to be able to understand and get us there. For those who haven't sailed out of Miami, please note that the port is huge and it is anything but obvious how to find and get to a specific ship. I'm guessing @KSSS2013knows this, but is trying to be funny.
  20. Yep. And I'm sure that herding bored, drunk, resistant passengers to some silly acting event is just the same as controlling a panicked crowd who have just learned that their ship is sinking. I mean, what would be different? 🤣
  21. Not sure if that was a happy ending or not? I'm still waiting to hear from the "MANY," but obviously it has happened at least once.
  22. That's funny. Tickets don't really exist any more, but people take a whole lot more medications. 🤣
  23. THANKS!!!!!!!!!!!!! I just discovered that the Pearl will be at C and not B when I sail. REALLY good to know! How the heck does NCL expect us to know this stuff? The eDocs just list the address for port of Miami.
