  1. I loved going to the Ponderosa with my grandmother when I was little. You ordered you steak when you started the lunch line and picked out the sides cafeteria style and your steak was ready by the time you got to the register.
  2. Mine hasn't and for some reason mine are really high for most categories. I have a V2 cabin and if I wanted to bid for for aquaclass the minimum bid is $750 per person. If I wanted to bid for a sky suite it would be minumum $1400 per person.
  3. I think it is a lunch only venue with a $30 cover charge plus an additional $15 for the seafood tower. You have to book once onboard. I don't see oysters on the menu but that doesn't mean they might not have them occasionally.
  4. Do you have the All included with classic? If you did cruise only and don't have the classic package, it probably wouldn't offer you the upgrade.
  5. You can use the app BUT often the phone/specialty dining concierge may have additional times that aren't showing available on the app. During my last cruise there was someone at a table next to guest services who could sell you additional dining nights and also help you with reservations.
  6. Yes you pay the gratuity based on the new cabin. I would imagine that you pay the difference, so $0.50 more pppd if you go up to concierge or AQ and $5 more pppd for suites. Even before if you had AI with gratuities, you paid for the package that included the lower gratuities so you still would have been expected to pay the difference.
  7. All of the perks and OBC, you had move with you to the new unit.
  8. There have been others reporting that higher base prices for premium and classic packages remained the same for November 2023 cruises but were lower for December 2023 and later cruises. No change in the zero proof package price. This is above and beyond the different % offered for different cruises.
  9. The overall drink packages are listed lower as well. The regular price for the premium package is showing as $87.99 pppd and the classic at $72.99 pppd.
  10. My guess is no because it is under "Special Dining Experience" rather than "Specialty Dining Restaurant." Also the list price of $129 per person vs the $45-$65 for those listed under specialty dining restaurant makes me think not.
  11. 44 days until my Reflection cruise and 185 until my Silhouette transatlantic crossing. I usually like Celebrity MDR but after a bad experience in August on Millennium I booked 5 nights (out of 6) package for Reflections and 6 (out of 13) for Silhouette dining package. Now just hoping these don't disappoint and that I can get reasonable reservations once onboard.
  12. or use the room card key - swipe or chip read. They obviously have the tech to pull up your picture, why not charge with the input of the drink at that time. Just make it an expectation that even in the MDR, they need to swipe or tap the card each time you order a drink.
  13. Glad it worked out. The answer is it depends on the rules of the fare you booked. This is one that I am looking at for next May from AMS to BWI. The top one is Jetblue and as soon as it booked change fees would apply. The bottom one is Iceland Air and it has the risk free symbol. Risk free* flights let you cancel or make changes without a fee up until final payment is made. Once final payment is due changes would incur a change fee.
  14. As long as it is pending, there is nothing to dispute or even call about. Until it becomes an actual charge, neither you, your card or celebrity can do anything about it.
  15. Did you just pay the deposit or had you paid for the whole cruise? Did you have a refundable or non refundable deposit? If you had a non refundable deposit, then you may or may not have been able to get a credit or partial credit toward another cruise but you would not get that back. You would be entitled to the rest of the payment minus the non refundable deposit. If you had a refundable fare than you should get everything including the deposit back.
  16. It is optional the way gratuities are optional at nice restaurants. It definitely is expected and the wages that the crew members in those positions get reflect that they expect to get gratuities from guests
  17. You need to call and the discounts don't usually stack other discounts.
  18. Online I haven't seen unlimited. Usually it is 3 night to one night less than the full cruise. On an upcoming 13 night cruise the most I see is 12 nights with a regular price of $454 plus gratuity per person with a 9% discount for booking pre cruse. Mine is for a 13 night transatlantic. You can not make the reservations for the individual nights/restaurants using the multi night package until you are onboard. Sometimes there are additional sales. The best I've seen is 25% off the multi night dining packages.
  19. In the US, the regular upgrade price with gratuity is about $24 per person per day and everyone over 21 in the cabin has to upgrade. It may not show immediately but typically within 2 weeks of booking the upgrade options appears online. If it doesn't you can call and upgrade. I usually wait and check all of the sales to see if there is a decent deal off the normal upgrade. We had a 50% off so $12 pppd for our November 2024 ABC cruise. The typical pre cruise discount is 10-20% off.
  20. Sometimes I get the email early. When I get the email, it lets me put in offers. If I go to the link outside of the email, it tells me I am too early and to wait until 21 days.
  21. It was sirloin only on the kids menu on Millennium in August.
  22. I was on the millennium last month and chose evening service and unless I kept my do not disturb sign up until I went to dinner she would do morning and evening.
  23. They have discounts based on tier but it is generally off the full regular price so getting the 10-20% off may not be any better than any current sale pricing for the packages.
  24. Celebrity standard pricing is $89 plus gratuity per person per day for the standard drink package and $109 for premium. Pre cruise you can get a discount based on your tier or the standard or specialty sales that they have.
  25. You cannot or you can cancel just the alcohol from the AI but you wouldn't get anything back so you could pay $86.99 per person per day plus gratuities for the 20% off sale or $18.99 per person per day plus gratuity for the 5% upgrade package.
