Those tiny "lobsters" would be illegal to catch in some places. Probably from some country with no regulations. Not exactly like the ones I saw in Canada recently!
Once in Naples (awful place) a man wearing an excessive amount of gold jewellery was told by a shopkeeper in the terminal to go back on the ship and remove it as he was a prime candidate for a mugging. Don't know if he took the advice. Some people leave their common sense at home when on holiday!
On Tortola, Cane Garden beach is not good. All the cruise ships go there. Did a good excursion to another island with BBQ included. Carambola Beach Club is good. If you are docked at Seraphina in St Lucia, don't miss Rum Therapy. Mad there, but great fun.
Yes, on Aurora in March (Northern Lights) waves were breaking over the Prom Deck and coming into the pub under the doors. Soon rectified with lots of blue towels placed strategically. All good fun!
Sorry, must have misunderstood, as you mentioned Bianco in your post. Yes I have seen deck parties on the Caribbean cruises and they are enjoyable in the balmy weather.
Chips and mayo is a treat for me as I rarely eat chips at home, and the ones on P&O are usually lovely. Otherwise I find the food very good and appreciate not having to cook or wash up!
If going from Southampton you should be able to take enough clothes for a 12 nighter without having to do washing. Leave the housework at home and enjoy your holiday.
Nowadays, Crows Nest tends to have either a pianist or the Arcadia Orchestra, who are very good. Not seen any loud groups in there. Pulse are in The Globe most nights - a venue I dislike as it is extremely noisy!
