  1. And half price laundry is handy on longer cruises.
  2. But no loyalty tier benefits and much more expensive drinks!
  3. I cruise mainly on the two smaller ships as a solo. They are popular so can be very expensive, particularly for a balcony cabin. Even so, their cruises seem to sell well. If Aurora were to go, I think they could fill Ventura as an adults only ship.
  4. Heard a poorly person being taken off.
  5. Did you frequent the Chelsea Drugstore, Markham and Chelsea Potter? My hangouts in the 70s. As you say, happy days!
  6. My first cruise was on Celebrity Constellation in 2011. I thought it was massive! Two weeks Caribbean. Cost £4000. My Arcadia Xmas cruise this year cost nearly £6000. It is sold out, so small, adults only, still popular.
  7. The problem is that people take no notice of the disembarkation times they are given and all try to get off at the same time.
  8. On Arcadia in October and Ventura last month, only priority boarders allowed in. All others had to queue outside.
  9. Drink prices have gone up over the past year, as has the drinks package.
  10. Balcony is quite roomy enough for me on my own.
  11. I was offered an upgrade from balcony to mini suite on Arcadia for just under £3000 pp. No thanks!
  12. The Aurora NL cruise in March had two nights in Tromso and Alta. Same next year. Have booked it again as I enjoyed it so much.
  13. Yes and Aurora. Also get butter dish in MDR at dinner and plenty of biscuits. Been on her three times this year. Changes all the time though.
  14. I like cruises without St P, which I have done too many times. Lots of lovely places to visit in the Baltic. Lovely in the Summer away from the Med heat.
  15. I received a £100 voucher, but could not use it when booking on board.
