    That's a shame. I do not use accessible cabins but it seems disappointing for those that do.

    On Arcadia at Xmas they had staff at the buffet entrances asking people to use the washbasins. Unfortunately they were getting a fair bit of abuse from some individuals. Felt sorry for them.

    That was 2019 so maybe things have improved now. She has had a fair bit of refurbishment over the past couple of years - new furniture, carpets, mattresses, etc.

    Why would accessible cabins have different TVs to the rest of the ship?. Maybe they have changed since the last time you used one?

    They used to do that on P&O. And Stilton (if you asked for it). Sadly no more.

    We were warned not to go ashore in Colon independently as there was nothing there and it was dangerous. Of course, some idiots ignored this, went ashore and got robbed at gunpoint! An excursion is essential there, or stay on board.

    I used to love the indulgent desserts, but I find the new vegan ones pretty bland. Ice cream is still good though. Just wish the fruit salad was more available.

    Only ship I have been on recently that still has rubbish TVs is Ventura. However, Aurora (and Arcadia) TVs are fine now.

    Been on Aurora many times over the past couple of years and always had large TVs. It is the lack of signal at times which is the problem. But I don't cruise to watch TV as I do too much of that at home!

    Booked my May Aurora cruise a month ago. Now reduced. A couple of friends have paid less than me for the same cabin. Have effectively paid more than 100% supplement. They also got twice the obc I did. Booking last minute from now!

    My May cruise has been reduced in price by £500. However, I have paid £401 deposit, so no gain in cancelling and rebooking. Really annoying how this keeps happening. My 2 friends have paid less for their balcony than I have!

    Did Northern Lights last Feb and doing it again next month. Tons of snow, very cold, and beautiful.

    Loved Praia. So much prettier than Ponta D. When we visited they laid on a brass band. Reminded me a bit of La Palma with one main street.

    Go to your cruise personaliser, check in online and then you can print your boarding pass and tags.

    Aviva would not quote for me, being over 74, but I expect they will make allowances for Nationwide customers.

    So glad I always do fixed dining! No stress or uncertainty. I have no desire to go on Iona or Arvia again. But I can see the attraction of "Freedom" to some folk who like to dine at different times.

    I have been to that beach by ferry. It was very dirty and crowded so got on the next boat back to the ship. There are better beaches on the island, further afield though.

    Can you join a virtual queue on the TV and then sit there and watch until your table is ready?

    Correct, I am not a Nationwide customer.

    Might not affect Nationwide customers. I just visited Aviva website for a quote and saw I was too old!

    That would exclude those not able to use a smart phone though. As it seems like a lot of posters on here want to eat early and have tables for two, maybe one restaurant with ONLY tables for two at 6.00 pm would be the answer!
