Thanks to you, and to all the Dailyites who chime in. Fun fact - near Beaumont, Tx is an alligator preserve - Gator Country, which has its own twist on Groundhog Day. They use one of their bigger gators, Big Al, a 1000 lb, 90+ year old Gator, to predict upcoming winter or spring . Strange but true. Also true - I’m scared of alligators 🐊 😂 Stay warm, hug your families, share a smile with a stranger, and have a wonderful day.

Loving everyone’s jokes - reading them with my first cup of coffee is the perfect way to start my day..It’s a brisk morning on the Gulf coast - 36, with a high of 50 and plentiful sunshine 🌞 I am filled with gratitude every day reading this thread. I’m sorry I don’t know all your names, but I appreciate each of you who provide the info in this thread - daily, fleet, maps, recipes, drinks, wine facts, port of the day pictures and facts, the blessings and care lists. having the quirky and little known “Today is:” usually stumps me on one or more. so funny! No cats! But have 2 dogs who do the same. We finally trained them by having the Alexa Show in the Living Room set an alarm every day. They stare at Alexa for the last 30 minutes, waiting for the audible alarm. it’s funny, one dog is starting to recognize numbers from the alarm time visually on the clock .

Hello Daily friends! Rainy day along the Gulf Coast. we have huge Live Oak trees for blocks across the street. Every year a squirrel 🐿 sneaks along our fence to the backyard , jumps to our crepe myrtle trees, and down into “no squirrel territory” to craftily deposit his winter treasures in a random pattern across the back yard. The same backyard where Brutus and Jacks stare out the window and wait until the squirrel finishes, before zooming out the dog door, chasing it up and away from “no squirrels territory”, later that afternoon, the hunter dogs 🐶 go treasure hunting. @puppycanducruise, I actually read your 1-liner as “lemons” - I guess that I may be dyslexic? Or a poor reader. 😂 Thanks to Roy/Rich and all of you who contribute on drinks, meals, port of the day, fleet report, and sharing with us all. I learn so much on this thread! Hi, you never know what one will find in the water. My sister and her family are vacationing on a catamaran near Grenada this week. Her grandson was snorkeling near their Cat, and came up with a SeaPass card from your sailing! I marked out any identifying info. She sent a picture, and it shows Rhapsody in the background. As you can see, it is the current week’s sailing If you are onboard Rhapsody, and have 8:00 pm dining, deck 4, go by table 260 and let them know the sea gave up a New Year’s treasure - David’s seapass card. 😎
