The last time there was an AMEX offer we were able to finish up our $1k with about $200 in refundable OBC, and we received the reward.

Second, on the mudslide at lunch or sail away. You can switch over to the Bourbons after that... -

Following along. We've got a while before our trip on the Breakaway in December... -
Thanks for your live posts! We are booked for our 1st MSC cruise on the Seascape in March of 2024. So, following along for the preview of things to come. 🙂

We were on the Escape in December and frequented Cellars and Tobacco Road. We never had to wait more than a few minutes. By mid-week, the primary bartender in Cellars new our names and would have our preferred wine pouring when he saw us coming his way. We did do some tipping along the way, starting with $1 or 2. We went a little higher based on good service at Cellars and Tobacco Road once we figured out that those were going to be our usual haunts for the trip.

Same experience for us but in Cellars on the Escape. We enjoyed several of the wine tastings there as well. You can check for another bar within easy walking distance where he can pick up a drink and then join you. There were several options nearby on the Escape. Cellars didn't have bottled water, so we would run for a bottle of that at another bar in between the glasses of wine.

Coffee stations and small selection of croissants and pastries were out on the Waterfront in the mornings on the Escape back in December.

Following along. 🙂

Why NCL Premium PLUS Adult Drink Package?
Erekosse replied to Sthrngary's topic in Norwegian Cruise Line
We did S.Pellegrino. lol... 🙂 -
The shore excursion credit worked for us, but people trying a few days later on our cruise could not use the credit. So, I think it may have been a brief configuration error on the website that allowed the application of the credit.

If there are any available that were not reserved. We booked online prior to the trip.

The Great Escape - From Way Before the Beginning Until The End

Thanks for posting! Following along is bringing back some good memories. We were on the Escape in early December. -
Possibly a lag between activation and ability to access (or the ticket from the customer service rep did it's job). I can access my account this morning.
-
Were you able to get this resolved? I created an account today and activated it. I am getting the same error message. I spoke with a customer service representative who could not see any issue on her end, so she put in a ticket with their IT people.

Same, but in Le Bistro and Tepanyaki for us on Escape.

The meal was a fixed menu that they showed us when we made our reservation on day 1 along with all the other shows. I think it was either the steak or a vegetarian option for the main. I don't recall if there were options on the app or dessert. Wife's steak was tough and over cooked. Mine was a little bit better but not by much. It was a fun experience. We were seated with another couple and were able to meet them and strike up a conversation, so if you are in a group less than 4, you can expect to sit with others you do not know. The performance was good. YMMV on the worth to you.

The NCL Haven Luxury VIP Experience "Secrets" REVISED for 2022
Erekosse replied to Sthrngary's topic in Norwegian Cruise Line
My understanding is that those booked in the Haven can make specialty dining reservations at 130 days. I'm looking on the web and on the app, and it's showing the 120 day date as the day to start making reservations. Should it say the 130 day date? Or, is that simply a generic message? Tomorrow is our 130 day window, so I'd really like to get those booked without technical glitches. -
We were on the Escape in early December. Supper club was fun and did not have an extra cost. The show was good - Barricade Boys. Food was nothing special, below quality of other meals on the ship.
-
We were on the Escape in early December. No problems anywhere we asked that included Cellars, Atrium, Whiskey Bar, MDR, Le Bistro, Tepenyaki, and the bar between Taste and Savor.
-
I'm on the Escape tomorrow. And, we are scheduled to port at Amber Cove in Puerto Plata on Monday. Here's the link to the Amber Cove schedule page: https://www.ambercove.com/Port-Schedule.aspx

Has anyone on NCL gifted themselves OBC ?
Erekosse replied to Jetswdo's topic in Norwegian Cruise Line
That was my concern as well. We did the FAS+ upgrade plus $325 in OBC for our cruise next Saturday to get the AMEX $1k requirement for the $350 back. We also got about $200 refunded to a different credit card that we used for our four NCL excursions (2nd person credit from FAS+).
