  1. Same with us when on Vista, 8th deck veranda. Never an issue. In fact we were opening the door to hear the announcements.
  2. We had zero issues getting wine service on our Vista cruise in the GDR. Only place it was slow at times was while at the Terrace. But even that improved throughout the cruise.
  3. Agree! But they are getting their free group therapy!
  4. One post it’s SM….next post it’s dangers of Red Sea….
  5. Then you throw in the “hookers”! Oops….never mind, wrong site.
  6. Of course you can!! You read these threads, most posts aren’t based on reality or facts!! I just check in on a couple of them to see how the group therapy sessions are going.
  7. And……when did you actually hold the reservation and then make the deposit. Being a bit vague.
  8. You do get the ticket contract when you do a hold.
  9. If the TA doesn’t give you the Ticket Contract prior to taking payment you need to ask them. They usually just forward everything that Oceania sends them when they place a hold, which includes the Invoice and Ticket Contract. I guess if you don’t want to use a TA, then it is up to YOU the consumer to do your homework and get answers to the issues you have some concern with prior to making your initial payment.
  10. I guess it gives them a reason to be annoyed when they realize they may have made a mistake???
  11. Or they totally abused the staff over the issue before even doing the interview. Who knows.
  12. I’m still waiting on that bag that went missing in 2017!!! I guess I better just move on now!! 🤔
  13. You can purchase any day you want to start in once onboard. Good way to test for a day or so to see if you really want it.
  14. Well I believe the two options you do not want to utilize are your only two options. Personally I’d just call them direct as usually the easiest and quickest way.
  15. Seems to be a Vista issue, however, we were on Vista and did not experience any of it. Really comes down most likely if you have inconsiderate neighbors or not.
  16. I found an article in Cruise Industry News that it was introduced for voyages beginning in 2012.
  17. Under SIMPLY MORE you would get wine, champagne and beer included at lunch and dinner with both room options. No spirits included. For that you would have to upgrade your beverage package to Prestige level.
  18. Not every night. For example on a 10 night cruise we will get 2 nights at each of the two specialty restaurants for a total of 4. Usually your butler can get you some also, really depends on how full the ship is and all. Also, another perk of PH is you can have dinners from specialty restaurants in your room served by your butler.
  19. Well first would be the overall size. PH has butler service, can make reservations for dinner earlier, get more reservations at specialty restaurants and if veranda is not concierge you would get access spa for free with PH. But based upon comments here probably the biggest advantage for PH would be the larger bathroom and especially the shower, which is a dealbreaker for many.
  20. I’d do some research on the HOHO bus. I recall seeing earlier on here of some who have had bad experiences with it there. Was not reliable and took you way out of the main city center and caused you to not have much time to explore the city center area. See Post #25 from the Live From Riviera thread.
  21. Just from my past cruises in that general number of port days….this is what I have had to purchase looking at my past excursion pdf…..10 port days>minimum was 6, 8 port days> minimum was 5 and 7 port days> minimum was 4. So, guessing either 5 or 6 mimimum…..and the outlier is one with 19 port days with minimum of 10.
  22. Yes! And it is very clear under the US website under the Beverage Package section it is $30 USD per person per day to upgrade the House Select included under the SM to the Prestige Package.
  23. Agree, have you called Oceania? Just like issues with the booking of excursions…sometime it is easier to just call them.
  24. Just so clear….you are wanting to know number required on a cruise you are interests in, but not yet booked? How many port days in said cruise?
