  1. Yeah….when you go into your reservation online it will show you have not purchased any beverage package even though included in SM and indicated in your invoice. Kind of odd…assume due to fact there are currently reservations under both SM and not…and they haven’t figured out how to update system, you know…the Oceania IT thing.
  2. Per Cruisemapper the Edge, Silversea Spirit, Azamara Journey and Cunard Queen Elizabeth have recently passed through the Suez Canal either just recently or past couple days. Looks like all there now in southern portion other than Azamara.
  3. We have a cruise in January under SM and we used the credits and received the 25% discount when minimum number purchased. Also have a cruise next October in which the excursions just recently became available and looking under our online account it also shows the SM Shorex Pricing for each excursion with 25% discount when indicated number purchased.
  4. Yeah, saw that. Sorry. My only post COVID cruise was excellent from a food standpoint. Just as good or better than pre COVID for us at least.
  5. Actually in 2025 per the website there are 7-8 of them in August and September. Now when may be best I have no idea.
  6. Could they add more? Possibly, but I would not go into it counting on that happening. They may add additional times for the same excursion if demand warrants it. Pdf Version - If you did not get one with original invoice ( which most likely you didn’t as assume you booked more than one year in advance ) I’d call your TA to have them check with Oceania to have a pdf version emailed. If no TA, just call Oceania directly to have it emailed The $1000 shore excursion credit is actually broken down $500 per guest, especially if under SM. If you look at your original invoice it should show as such. So that would be minimum of 6 excursions per guest to qualify for the 25% discount. Once you have hit the 6, any above and beyond 6 would also qualify for the discount. If I’m incorrect, I’m sure someone will be more than happy to let me know. 😉
  7. I think one potential advantage of doing onboard is maybe you are not sure you really need to upgrade but after a couple of days you decide you’d like to…..you would only pay the upgrade per day charge for that day moving forward. At least that is the way I believe it works.
  8. We loved Kotor…..just a beautiful sail in and out. Enjoyed it very much.
  9. Looks like those cruises really ramp up in May. Will be interesting needless to say. We were just there in May. Guess we were lucky.
  10. We were in Turkey in May during the election and when he was re-elected. Let’s just say it seemed anyone in the tourist industry seemed very upset (and were not shy about letting you know) as they had a feeling then I think their livelihoods could be impacted after their struggles to get back to normal after the pandemic.

    VISTA

Every time I’ve had a veranda cabin I have been able to get them with no sharing. You may have to be willing to be flexible on dates and perhaps willing to dine later, and for us we have never had to go later than 8:30.
  12. Gate 1 I believe for the most part is a land tour company.
  13. But does sound like if only one has to be done once onboard. However just looked at a couple of my reservations and it indicates can select the package wanted by guest.
  14. I’d try again and see if different answer. Following pic grabbed from their website. Sometime depends on who is asked. Or…..they recently changed and not yet updated.
  15. According to the list under the Oceania Free Shuttle thread they do to the town center (cathedral). I’m not sure when that was last updated though as no date indicated for that one.
  16. As in only a TA knows about? Or they will drop prices on their website on some cruises not included in a sales event from time to time?
  17. Thanks! Appreciate the information! Sounds like something not too bad at all.
  18. They actually announced they skipped ports and all due to a Save the Sea program?
  19. I’ve been looking at these….is there like a good age where maybe a safari is not a good idea?? Just not sure of physical demand and all. Asking for a friend!!! 😉
  20. Only thing I can think is they meant an A-2 and not a C-2 in looking at the USD pricing. That would be for 2 people and not pp. if that is the case now that certainly changes the narrative but now have no idea what is or is not reality!!! Who knows. Also, no idea if the 2023 was purchased under some major sales event. Just a bit too much missing or inaccurate information to really get a feel for it. And hey, tomorrow is a new month and maybe a new Oceania sale?!!!!
  21. Check on their website. Under Beverage Packages and the View Bar Menu. Most scotch and whiskey selections seem to run from 12-18 plus a 20% tip if not in a beverage package. Also pictures in Post 1 of a thread under Riviera Drink menu photos.
